Anyone else here part of the Volkswagen family?

  1. All im gonna say towards that as a vw employee - diesel in the US is crude by quality standards vs europe. That will lead to increased emission.

    That said these cars are still better for the environment than a prius or electric car

  3. That said my wifes tdi has 11k on it. 2yrs old. Spotless exhaust tips still. Never cleaned.

    Sees 37mpg+ in town and 48-60 mpg on highway conditions depending
     
  4. I was going to post in here and see if anyone has heard about the emissions news for the VW family, but I guess everyone has been informed lol.

  8. my brother has a 05 jetta tsi/fsi on coilovers. I drove it a few times, its a nice car. Not overly fast but doesn't lag either.
