Hello Grasscity! This is my very first grow so I'd love to see what everyone thinks of it. Ok first off I'd like to say i've had a lot of fun with this, and this is most definately going to be one of my hobbies for the rest of my life.:) I'm inexperienced as of now, but really hope my grows in the future will be much better. I've done quite a bit of researching on this, but would like to hear any advise out there from any experienced growers. Ok and now talking about my plants. Unfortunately they are just from random bagseed. I started out with 35 of them in my closet, but due to lack of knowledge only ended up with 5 females lol. I also took 4 clones from my best plant, but only ended up with 2 of them making it lol. My inexperience really expressed itself because i had many problems with stress issues, which slowed their growth at times. I actually had 1 plant that was shocked for about a month and was almost completely dead, but somehow pulled out of it and even ended up being a female :) These plants were vegged for every bit of 8 weeks before the light cycle outside forced them into flower. Also they are being grown in 5 gallon buckets except for 1 plant that i transplanted into the ground the other day just to see if the yield would end up being better versus my plants in buckets. While in veg i wasnt very consistent with nutes.:( While they've been flowering i feed them with schultz bloom plus about every other watering. Oh yea these ladies are 2 and 3 weeks into flower. I got so excited when they started to flower, and felt like all the hard work finally started to pay off. Just had to throw that in there.;) Well anyway here are the pics:

This is the plant i was saying was shocked for about a month, and still ended up being female. It's my smallest plant obviously because it was stressed a lot through vegging. She's in the 2nd week of flowering.

She's in the 3rd week of flowering. It seems like she hasn't grown any taller for like a month. I dunno if she's rootbound in the bucket or what, but it kinda disappoints me. On the good side the smell on this plant is dank!

This plant is in the 2nd week of flowering. It's a lanky shitty looking plant lol but hopefully she produces some decent smoke.
Unfortunately right now i only have the pics of those 3, but i'll be posting pics of the other 2, and my 2 clones soon! The other two are also in the ground now. I transplanted them a couple weeks ago. The clones are just in beer pong cups, because i haven't got around to transplanting them yet. Now before i end this post i have a few questions for yall. First off i know its nearly impossible to guess a yield, but does anyone out there have anything in mind for me of what i could harvest from these 3? I'm just hoping to get a little bit of good smoke ya know. Could i please get some advise on things i could do throughout these last 5 or 6 weeks of flower to possibly make my yield greater? The lanky plant, would it help any to tie the 4 branches together so they can handle the weight as the buds get bigger? Also would it help any to transplant the 2 in buckets into the ground with only 6 weeks left? I've heard mollasses works really good in flower. Should i use it until finish to swell buds? or should i just keep using the schultz bloom? if i do use mollasses how much do i put in a gallon of water? Ok i think thats it for now and like i said i will post my other girls real soon! Thanks for your time i greatly appreciate it!!!:)

Everything is starting to look a lot better since i started using the molasses. The smell seems to be more sweet smelling also. I'm also using the bloom plus with the molasses. The buds have pink and orange hairs all over them. Well thats all for now:wave:

yea the colors are pretty sweet but i dunno if thats good or bad. i've heard purple streaks in the stems could be a nutrient defeciency but im thinkin the buds are a different story? im very excited to take all my learning experiences on to next year(: danniem do you have your grow in the journals?

no, i don't really know how to work the site but i'm blogging about it. I haven't seen anything about the purple streaks, i thought it was normal for my plants since the strain was purple and the readings said i could get purple buds naturally.

lol that's the same thing i was thinking. i did a little more research on the purple in the stem, it is a deficiency of (Ph) but this chart i came across showed that in the Ph levels were looking for those minerals aren't readily available naturally so it's no big deal. hopefully this season ends good so i can upgrade my box with the money i'd save lol.

well they started flowering like 4 or even 5 weeks ago but abt 2 weeks in i trimmed the shit out of the bigger fan leaves for bettter light penetration, which i believe slowed things down quite a bit so its hard to say an exact flowering time ya kno when youve stressed your ladies in budding. i read later that i prolly shouldnt have trimmed those suckers but it seems like a lot of experienced growers still debate that issue...

i've seen that debat too. i looked at this......http://forum.grassci...-made-easy.html....... and i think that this might be a better route, seems like it's less stressful but i kind of don't see how yet. need to look into it a little more.

yes i also top my plants thru veg but i wasnt talking abt topping man. i am saying i cut off a bunch of the bigger fan leaves. this gives the buds better light penetration. Also this stops the flow of nutrients to fan leaves and allows the nutrients to focus more on the buds or in other words the entire plant focuses more on the buds. alright look them bigger, older fan leaves are basically doing nothing but stealing your food. So if you kill some of them your buds will take off. At least with my grow thats what has happened. at first my plants looked so shitty when i did this and i was scared to death but low and behold after 2 weeks it was AMAZING how the buds started producing!

lol my bad i thought that one went into (LST) low stress training. basically you can either bend the stem where it cracks but just slightly or you can tie it at an angle or use hooks to hold it in place. have you looked that up, that opens the plant up for more light and "produces bigger buds"
