What is the problem with chinese glass? Can someone actually tell me a difference between a nice bong blown in the US or China except the paint on the side and the price tag? It seems like a lot of people in the toking tools section have forgot about the first word; "toking". Toking makes me relaxed and happy, it doesn't make me want to go flame a guy who can't spend $500 on a bong, grow up and stop being a snob
Yup, you can tell the difference, but I also agree people are too hostile here about it.
But the biggest concern for me is that it is actually a lower quality glass, and the big problem there is that It will break much more easily than things made out of higher quality boro glass. A china glass tube can be well made, can have good perks, and can function great, but often they have a lot of flaws, so I encourage people to inspect their tube before buying it... If you find a good one though, then I have no problem with someone buying china glass, just know that when you do the glass will degrade over time faster with regular use, and will be more fragile in general, so there is a good chance you will have to replace it sooner than later. However, its probably going to be more expensive in the long run to keep replacing them than just get 1 nice one that will last. (unless you are clumsy in general and would have broken either, in which case stick to acrylic)
