Just tied her all down again to let those smaller colas get more light. I'll post photos when she straightens up with a more even canopy...
"Would anyone recommend pruning any of these leaves?" Hell no. IMO there isn't any leaves that are going to shade anything anyhow if you have any kind of a decent light(s) so why on earth would you? You certainly wouldn't want to start pulling leaves just for the sake of pulling them - any good light will penetrate through that small plant. J
"tied it down" Good! IMO you need more light. I'd be working on that ASAP. Just bite the bullet and invest in at least a 400 HPS, or even a 600. What r u running now? There's no way anything should be shaded. The plant is too short to be shaded. J Edit: damn spell check.
The light I have on her is actually from my fish tank. It's a 48" LED with full spectrum (blues, yellows, red, and whites). Cost almost $400 although I know I could use something more specific for my needs. It was just something I already had and to be honest I wasn't even expecting to make it this far. But I'm really enjoying this new hobby and might invest in something more suited for growing my next time around. Thanks for the advise! I really appreciate it! Here's what she looks like this morning. I'm very happy with my decision to tie her all down again.
So I just picked up this LED bulb and fixture...the plant is too wide for the 48" light to cover the canopy and I thought this was a good idea...yay or nay jerry??
