1st time to attempt edibles! Suggestions and input wanted!

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by mumbojumbo, Aug 20, 2011.

  1. So ive read anything from these fire crackers, brownies and so on.

We have split a full O between 3 of us - we each took a 1/4 and set aside a 1/4 for the edibles we are going to cook ( we may all toss in more if we decide )

1st fun fact I would like to know is what is the needed amount to get a decent high for a casual user?

Suggested recipes? Ive read that you can cook and eat, or leave it out and allow oils such as peanut butter to extract the thc and what not?...

I would for sure like to have left overs after tonight so input as to a good amount and a good recipe for the 3 of us...and to leave left overs would be golden! ty!

  2. heres what id try for a first time..do a double boil in coconut oil..after youve finely ground up your weed in a coffee grinder...double boil it in coconut oil for an hour..dump the oil (i dont mind the left over bits of weed) plus the weed into brownie mix and bake at three twenty for half an hour to forty five minutes..a lot of ppl find the leftover bits of weed too nasty to eat..my feeling is..while its a bonus that the edible tastes good.youre not going for title of iron chef..your aim is to get wasted..leave the leaves in because if you arent using a method that extracta close to all the thc from the leaves there will be a lot ledt over even after the double boil.

  3. Thanks for your suggestion.
