The one pound plant

    i have a plant growing. it will be 1 pound. i don't want it to stink up my room when i am curing it. i also want to keep it for a while. i don't smoke a ton.

    answer these questions
    how to cure it (preferably outside)
    how long
    what to store it in once it is cured. THANKS

    How do you know it will be one pound?
    And maybe you should read the curing stickies in the harvesting section that tell you exactly what to do step by step.

    But I will help you out:
    First the bud needs to dry (you said outside) for at least 5 weeks. Just hang it way up in a tree, and
    let it sit (preferably in a very humid area) for 5 weeks. Then bring it down, and soak it in water for 2 weeks. After you have soaked the bud in water you should be able to tell if it's done by how much water the bud retains without you squeezing. When this is finished you can just plop it in your refrigerator's crisper for a few days, and it will be ready to smoke. The 5 weeks in high up in a tree is what really brings out the piney flavor in the bud.

    I'm pretty sure it WAS funny. And if someone is claiming to grow a 1 pound plant but doesn't know how to cure, they deserve the advise they get.
