Okay blades this is a post where we say when we joined and brag about how great the city was back then and talk about all the things we remember from it. Sort of like a "prove your an old fag" for all you Btards. Ill go first it was the end of 06 I had just smoked for the very first time like a weak ago. and I was way way underage. I wouldn't doubt if I was at one point the youngest member on GC. I remember everyone accusing everyone of being underage, like if you made a thread about how your parents caught you smoking your thread would be taken over by a debate over whether or not you were 16. People were also more chill towards girls in the last week I have seen several posts saying "tits or gtfo" granted I havn't been paying much attention for the last year but still. I think maybe whiskey stopped posting or stopped paying as much attention cuz if she was around there wouldn't be any of this bullshit. Where you at girl? lets get a drink. Lastly I have a question where does the term blades come from? haha I feel dumb for asking but I have been wondering for the last 4 years now hahaha Oh and the very last thing i remember about GC in 07 was that i had more rep bars back then than I do now! how the fuck did that happen!?!?!?! edit--------- Oh man i almost forgot my inspiration for this thread before 1 year ago pandoras box used to be filled with people talking about hard drugs. tons and tons of people would talk about there new heroin pick up and about about how they barely ever did it. and the rest of it was filled with people crying about there heroin addictions (no offense to my homies in NA)
I joined the city a couple years back with a different username but forgot the credentials to get in. I dont remember it being too much different besides the 'Like' feature.
Joined in '02 after surfin' other MJ sites and gettin' an invite from an old Blade to come here,been here ever since. ALMOST NO TROLLS, a lil' closer feeling for me. When i log on now there's more online then there were members then,lololol

PLUR was on it's way out when I joined....Now it's a candy kid kind of thing. Thats about all the difference i've seen. People also seemed to be alot more respective and "forum games" were not all that was posted in.
09 represent. But uh... I don't remember what was going on really. Pretty sure Pandora's Box was different then, I remember posting about other drugs on here.
June of 04. What I remember is the forum was MUCH smaller. It seemed like so many people knew each other. There was a lot more respect amongst people. It's not like the city is worse, these good people are mostly still around, it's just with thousands of other people you are bound to get assholes.
8 years and still rockin! summer of 03, I was just a young buck back then, fairly new to the ganja, new to "forums" in general. I loved gc back then, and I love it now. But it will never be the same...I try not to dwell on it though, as there are tons of cool 'newer' members joining everyday. but the reason im still here is cuz of the og's still checkin in like my man newbgrow and saxman up there! oh, and pandoras box was the bomb back then!
2005 was a fantastic year to be a Blade. If I were to venture a guess, I would say the Golden Age of this place came to an end right around 2007.
