And then a bomb went off in Norway...

  1. This shit just happens, people occasionally feel the need to kill others. Unfortunate, but you can't prevent every instance like this.

  2. LOL, I would type, exactly what I typed again, if I could. No backpedaling present.

  3. apparently there was a police bombing exercise a few days before...usually how false flags work, however ill need to do more research on this to confirm.

  4. That's what Alex Jones says.
I watched that film Zeitgeist and they claimed the same thing happened on 9/11 and with the Lodon bombings in 2005. Has this ever been proven or disproven? Because those are the kind of things that could lead me to believe those attacks were false flags, if it's true.

  5. Jesus. Already with this conspiracy shit?

I don't get why people automatically jump to conclusions in the absence of proof. If you believe this was somehow orchestrated by the Norwegian government, prove it. The burden of proof is on the people making the claim.

It's up to conspiracy theorists to provide proof of said conspiracy, not the government who say there wasn't any conspiracy to begin with. It's like a religous person constantly extolling the virtues of his religion and the evils of other religions, and then when he's asked why he believes all this, says "Prove to me my God doesn't exist", you can't, just like you can't disprove a lot of conspiracy theories because their adherents offer no evidence that can be proven or disproved. It's all speculation, and speculation isn't enough when you want to pin almost 100 murders on someone or some group of people.

I don't know how transparent the political process is in Norway but the main reason, I think, that these theories flourish is because of the layers and layers of insulation between the 'Common Man' and the government. People have no clue and so they decide it's Us against Them, getting everybody on their side riled up without any proof whatsoever.

I mean really... At least 84 kids were gunned down, not to mention the bomb casualties, and instead of waiting till some more information is released people already think of pointing the blame on institutions they know very little about. The identity of the perpetrator(s) doesn't change the severity and atrociousness of the crime.

  6. Yes muslim countries suck and so does Israel. They are all terrorists and criminals. This is one of those topics that it is difficult to find an answer. You can't just suppress and oppress muslims as that goes against freedom. At the same time you have to deal with fools that think that an imaginary deity will reward them if they kill. I really don't know how I would deal with a situation like this as a leader. I would simply not let my state be part of the imperialist wave of violence, but what else could be done?

  7. Not 16...

    91 and counting.

  8. Was there really any need for all the effing and jeffing?
    Calm down.

  9. How did that strict European gun control work out? Oh wait the criminal got guns anyway. Honestly I don't think there's any conspiracy to this though. Just some sick nut who was upset because people weren't paying attention to him or he wanted to make some kind of perverted point.

In America we've had Virginia Tech, Columbine, Trolley Square and a multitude of other mass shootings and none were terrorist related. Just some psycho out to make a name for himself.

  10. Just an ironic anecdote

The day this happened (the shooting) my friends and I were talking about how a cubic millimeter (or cm, I forget exactly what) of brain tissue holds more neuro-connections than there are stars in the Milky Way and how the theory that when we die we may just wake up from a simulation is scientifically plausible, and I ended the fascination of the conversation sarcastically with "Great, let's kill each other over it! That makes me angry!"

Two seconds later my friend turned on the TV and this was what was on. :smoke: :(

Swills, your slanderous narrative-embedded lies are debunked in your own wiki links. You might need to do a better job narrating what is describing VERY DIFFERENTLY in the links you post.

For example, you attribute Jews' reasons for living in Israel to be that "God promised it to them."

While a minority of jews believe that, a majority don't. And israel did not come to be this way, which makes your reasoning, in this context, a shameless lie.

In reality, as opposed to the fantasy narrative you shamelessly present as fact, the state of Israel was established on land bought from Arabs by Jews with the consent of the Arab landowners.

It seems you missed this bunch of facts somehow:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_land_purchase_in_Palestine

You are cleverly attempting to sneak your reeking biases through as truth by posting wikipedia links along with your bullshit.

But to those who are educated on the matter, your obfuscation of reality is clear as day.

  12. Yeah lets just throw out the possibility that the government could do it because we can't prove it, that sounds smart. How the fuck am I supposed to provide proof of anything, Google won't tell me answers and I'm not in Norway to investigate it.

I'm not saying that the guy didn't just act alone, he very well could have, but to throw out the possibility of other involvement is foolish. If that's how you investigate a crime you would be a shitty detective.

No way, I didn't know that at all.

  13. op realizes that this was white-skinned, pale haired norwegians who did both of these attacks right???

  14. IKR.

He has some form of hatred against brownies. It's pathetic.

    He's racist.

  15. Good thing no-one jumped to any conclusions about who was responsible.

  16. It's only natural to jump to conclusions when you have muslims doing this kind of crap every day around the world. Human nature. It's called conditioning.

  17. Actually yes it is. I was just joking with one of my scandanavian eve online buddies about it, commenting on how funny it was that the fierce vikings turned into pussycats.

We have planned a weeks vacation in Oslo in 2013 - already had started planning some day trips around the area and sort of started looking for a company that does short term flat rentals.

[hubby and i had decided that we are going to do 2 weeks of his vacation every summer as renting a flat for a week in a different country every year, starting in 2012 with Amsterdam =) so far the lineup looks like A'dam, Oslo, Torun Poland and Bucharest Romania, I have friends in all the cities except for A'dam, but have a friend who lives about half an hour away]

  18. Black people get killed everyday too. In the United States. By other black people. U.S. Police kill innocent people everyday too. It's only RACIST to jump to the conclusions that the OP did. If there's any evidence of conditioning, it comes from the media, who report biased information to further their agenda. The news in Canada doesn't report nearly as many violent acts as U.S. media. And as a result, it's a lot safer. That's the conditioning you need to be worried about.

  19. I agree with that. So far the media has this guy labeled a "right wing Christian" and I still haven't seen any evidence that he's a Christian.

  20. It's called being having a gripe with Islam that bleeds through in almost every political post. I was talking to the OP.
