ok i dont mean to hate, im actually curious if the "myth" is true. can u only get dreads from not washing ur hair for months at a time?
Your hair will naturally dread given the time and the right shampoo. Most shampoos leave a residue that stops your hair from locking up, so you still wash your hair while they form. Of course not washing your hair at all and being a straight fucking bum will have your hair dreading up in no time but it will be shitty, disgusting, clumpy, gross dreads straight from the sewer. Conditioner, Combs, and running your fingers through your hair are pretty much the only things stopping you from having dreads.
I think it has to be the right kinda girl (personality wise) to sport the dreads and make it look sexy. Just my opinion though.
Same way a guy would depending on your hair type... Dreads are formed by knots, not dirt. They should always be clean no matter what process or method used (twisting, backcombing, two-strand twist, etc.) I seen some that look good but it's harder with your guyses hair
Every race on the entire planet has had dreads. Even the whitest of the white. Just said that cause literally every single thread about dreads has people saying white people shouldn't have them for whatever retarded reason.
