First Attempt. Autoflower.. feed back needed

Hi GC.. im new to growing.. i started growing some seeds out of some marijuana dat i got from my local dealer.. i grew these to learn more about the plant and to satifsy my intrest until my real seeds got here..

my seeds came today 10 nirvana short ryders, 1 MI5, and two free fem...

jus concetrating on the AF's for now...

the first thing i did was the tissue paper method in the window seal.. planing to put in soil tomorrow around the same time..
thats the stage that im at now..

i have 4 10x20 treys and 25 3 gallon bags, along with 10 1 gallon bags..
lighting: 300w soft white with dome reflector.. (planing on getting two more before plants start growing..)
this is a closet grow..
i have a fan and a few small 25w flo lights for extra lighting
the space in the closet is 20x40 enough for 4 10x20 treys

Bascially im looking to harvest 1/4 lb +, i want to get at least an ounce of each plant. giving me a 1/4 lb for storage and 1 oz to smoke..

Questions/Help Needed

1. If i use the 1gal bags i can plant all 10 seeds, if i use the 3gal i can only plant 6.. (unless i get to the store to buy anothe 64qt bag of soil.)

2. i dont have a ph tester and have been using regular tap water. how will this effect my auto's?

3. i have 10 short ryder seeds.. hoping for atleast 6 females, 5 so that i can store a 1/4lb and 1 so that i can mate with a male for more seeds.. How do i go about mating two plants the proper way..

4. is there anyway that i can produce all autoflower female seeds..

5. more questions too come.. this is only the 1st day of my 1st grow

Ok, question 1, that is not a question..., Q#2, get a large container to fill with tap water(let it sit to let chlorates discipate for a few days), or go to store and buy RO (cheap like 3$ every 15L). Q#3 I don't believe you need to "mate" seeds, if its male you simply grow it..may need some reasurance on that one though. Q#4 Least amount of stress is theorized to make more females.

For question 1 I was askin which should I use.. 1 gal and plant more seeds and transfer females or all 3 gallon and cut males down

After my seeds cracked open I planted them all in 3 gal grow bags.. I should hav put them in 1 gal first so that I can control more space and light but oh well.. This pic is from jul21

Was Very limited in light but I'm adding more improvements.. It's like as my garden grows my grow room grows.. I started from scratch.. Jus started learning and let see what happens

Ok.. Out of 10 Nirvana Seeds planted only 8 germinated.. Hope to get at least 6 females out these 8.. There lookin good from what I can tell.. I read somewhere that they should be close to the light so that they get more spots for bud production.. Need to get more Cfl's though. The ones i have only 2700k I think I need 6500k.

first of all, change that fking incandescent light man, go for 2x 200w 6500k CFL

It's a cfl 2700k 300 watt replacement..

Jus to add to the thread.. My MI5 never germinated.. Guess I should have got more than 1... The rocklock and the cheese germinated and i gave them to my cousin to grow..

Thee day my new seeds came in I ordered 5 fem onyx autoflowers.. The should be here today.. They also supposed to send me to free fem seeds..

I want to start this second grow but I don't even have enough lights to support my current grow..

After the 1st and rent is paid I can get not lights.. Hopefully I get some more tattoos in..

Yes.. They have the best deals I've seen so far..

8 days from seed.. Been giving then very light nutrients..

Missing a pic of 1 plant but any way my seeds came today.. Very descreete in a DVD case.

1 fem cheese that crushen in the case what's the odds of that shit.. I'm still happy though..

my freebie rocklock is crushed, didnt bother me tho.
