  1. Stella- I have been a failure cloning but I have READ a lot about it. Not once have I seen that in print. When you said it I thought maybe that is my problem.

  2. Ok... Update to my update. I pulled a few more buds from the top that matured and leveled the canopy. I did this on Tuesday morning. I Just now put them in the jars.. Dry weight was 47.58g. Wasn't a full harvest as much as a leveling off of the canopy since the first harvest. Light was lowered and now even the popcorn on the bottom is getting light and frosting over. Sofar 163.96g from the plant. These buds are Alot different from what I've grown before. They are tight but not as hard/dense as my last grow. This pheno I have appears to lean real heavy toward the sativia side... The last grow was all indica.. The high is 100% cerebral.. With a very uplifting and energetic effect. This is the type I like.. :)

Picts of what's still left on the plant. She is still doing real good. I have noticed slow increase in bud size.. Real slow... To be expected, but the buds are definitely maturing. I'll scope them every few days... I'll cut another layer once I get the colors I want...

  5. some great shots, gcraigen.

I have my clone on 18/6= it is just now growing it's own leaves . Today little white, what looks like pistils, started to appear. Being my first successful clone... I am confused???

  6. 5dw what you are seeing on your clones is preflwrs this is normal..figure its a mature plnt and in the normal schme of things its entire life is 4-5 mos but we are manipulating the light extending that now so it will show some pistills but its not flat out flwrng..my clones are all doing the same thing tack strips installed 004.JPG

  7. Thanks Doc. It makes sense, but the clone lifespan is a new one on me. I wish I could figure out a way to run the CO2 without spending $500. If TITAN would honor their Saturn 5 3 year warranty I wouldn't be in this situation. I'm such a fighter, it must be this retirement relaxation mode that has mellowed me out. I need to get on it. They aren't that expensive now but I don't know if it ever worked in my setup now.

  8. Look at all that bud porn... :) looking good man!!!!

So I got home today to find this. I believe my clones are going to be just fine . Lol ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1444712300.890646.jpg

  11. Man i cant wait to get my SC setup! This thread is so cool!

  12. Subbed!!

Agree 100% on the knowledge.... why I've fallen in love with growing... lol The learning is never ending, and hell I've barely scratched the surface myself...growing in my little box.... everyday brings something new it seems... Have to love it.. :)

I'm currently in the middle of my multi-harvest, dry and cure mode.. :) I know a lot of you guys use the Boveda 62RH packs in your jars. In between grows and such, sometimes the packs get dried out. Just a quick tip, if you haven't tired it yourself... put the hard dried boveda packs in the jar when the RH is alot higher then it should be.... The Dried hard packs will absorb the extra moisture, when the buds are a little too moist for the jars and will completely reliquify the boveda packs to good as new in a few days.... :) A moist paper towel in the jar with dried packs will fix them as well... but might as well make them work for us.. with damp buds.... :) Especially works great with buds that are fairly small, and tend to dry to quickly on the racks, which will affect taste and smell if they dry to quickly... I can throw the little buds in jar with a hard boveda pack and it will keep them from getting overly wet when they start to sweat in the jar... I'm sure over time, the packs will get beyond repair.. but I've had mine going for a year and 3 harvests and they are still going strong, even after drying out several times over the year...

So I found a use for my superlocker . I ended up cutting two holes one for intake and one for exhaust . I then stuck my fan and carbon filter in there and added some noise dampening pads . I now have a 2000 dollar fan and carbon filter box that can vent multiple tents . But on the bright side at least it's being used .

  14. Lmao.... It's not funny.... But it is... Lol

  15. on another not so funny but it is??? only one of my five fem pineapple chunk seeds sprouted from Barney's farm which I purchased from Herbies. I don't think it is a storage problem on my part as the one that did sprout came up within 48 hours.
Undo great tip on the bovida packs, I thought I had tried to revive but will give another try, Thanks bud!
Alright nice to be back growing, spent last week cleaning and setting everything back up, got the diy water chiller fired up and things are looking sweet except for the sprouting situation, I am planning on only growing two plants, I was going to pick the two best out of the five but i guess that choice has been made for me. Will try to find another strain with similar flower time and get it going.

  16. Stella= I use my $$$$ locker for my clone. Question: do you change reservoir and nutes to clone every week? Do you just give them A & B forever?

Peirman= I had same problem from Herbies. I contacted them. They wrote a long letter about all the variables that could cause failure (on part of the grower) but did replace entire purchase. I think I bought 10 seeds and they replaced 10.

Status of my Titan Saturn 5 (CO2 controller): Titan would not honor warranty without original receipt. I wrote letter. They are honoring warranty and sent me postage to ship to them. Yeah.

5 I use the root 66 and that's it for the first week then on the second week I add the grow and boost but at quarter strength . I let that go until I get roots then change the res and do another quarter strength of root 66 bc boost bc grow and sugar daddy . I use that mix until I transfer them to veg . I also give them a foliar spray just a squirt or two everyday until I get roots.

  18. Quick bud shot from the first harvest of my ak48.. Lots of crystals... Such an energetic high... I'm at 235gs dry weight in the jars so far.. I should have 1more good harvest from the plant... Then just popcorn left.. I put a pic of what's left on the plant... They were all pale and green sofar down... Now they are coloring up and getting coated with trics. She's chugging along fine... I tried that trick loop told me about....putting honey over the big stems cuts after chopping them... Seems like the holes closed up over night... Much better than without...not seeing any kind of stress on the plant at all.. Thx man..
