I cover one end, and pour 92% iso alcohol into it, to about half full. Then I cover the other end and shake it like crazy, and repeat a few times. If it's really dirty then ill put coarse salt and some raw rice in it too.
Invest in some Nammor hoses, really good hoses and you can just run water through them and it's all good. Great investment!
