How early can you flower clones?

  1. New to cloning

  2. as soon as they have roots but if you want more pot out of the plant then let it veg for atleast a month

  3. If you are doing a small/short grow start flowering as soon as it has roots.

  4. Clones will believe they are just as old as their original plant they were cut from, so that is why you would be able to flower as soon as they are rooted. You'd probably want to veg them to whatever size you need first and that would be your only limiting factor.

  5. I vegged for 30 days from transplant into Medium. The longer you Veg the more and sturdier Bud Sites form. Id LST and wait 60 days if I could.

  6. as soon as they are rooted, I have seen people 12/12 them while still in the dome, but to me why would you want to flower plants unless they are atleast 3ft tall. because you will have a very small yield if you flower a 4inch clone you will be lucky to get 10grams each of quality bud

  7. false I have pics to prove this plant is less than 6 inches tall flowered from clone and looks like it may produce an ounce or more 5 weeks into flower btw

How do I make it stay down. when I tie it will it stay like that or come undone if i take the tie off

  11. Remember, those buds are going to shrink when you dry them. It will be lucky to be an OZ

Real talk, I only pull about 20 grams from rooted clones, and that's with good conditions. You really want to let them veg for AT LEAST a week after you see resumed growth from the clone. 3-4 weeks is better. It's a shitty feeling it grow a plant for 2 months and only get a 1/2 OZ off it.

  12. true but its only in 5 weeks flower we will see when its done.

  13. Yeah, I wasn't dissing your plant. Lookin good man. Hope you do get on OZ off her.

This is one of my straight to 12/12 clones. I used natural sunlight (moved it in at night) and it was in a 20 gallon tub. I only pulled 18 grams off this plant when it was dried and well trimmed.

How long did it take you to learn that growing method

  15. LST is the shit!!!

  16. What, controlling the photo period by bringing them in at night? It's pretty easy. My husband gets them out in the morning before work, and I put them away at night. In at 8, out at 8. Last time I did this I set the alarm on my phone to help me remember, but I have a pretty good sense of time. I like to flower a few plants early this way to get some bud while I wait for the rest of my harvest. I don't like growing indoors, so this is how I get two harvests a year.

  17. But that 20 gallon tub I used was overkill. The rest of the clones I did this batch were in 3 gallon and they all weigh about the same. I didn't originally plan on flowering this plant early. It was supposed to go the full season so I put it in the big bucket, but then flowered it early anyway. It didn't have nearly enough time to fill that thing with roots.

    thanks for the info ;)

  19. thats a crazy lil plant you got ther man love it!

  20. I put clones right into flowering (12/12), depending on strain/bud style/flowering time (long or short) I harvest from 3 up to 20g.

Better take 2 weeks for my lowest indica (65 days of flo), but my sativa (70 days of flo) and sat/ind (50 days of flo) will continue to grow while producing buds.

All depends -as usual- of your strain, pheno and conditions.
