This will be my first Bubble Bucket Grow, and my first hydro... Got a modified version of rumples buckets here... instead of the PVC fill/drain i have one hole with an extra pump... i may incorporate his fill drain next time...

I have a 7.8 Liters per minute air pump for the stones, and a 245 gph pump to transfer water.

Its a 2'7 x 2'7 x 6' tent inside of a closet.

Lighting: 400 watt MH/HPS

Ventilation: 160 cfm fan with about 60 ft of ducting leading out the roof...

Seeds: Reserva Privada OG Kush and Barneys Farm Vanilla Kush

Nutes: I will be using the Flora Series with the Lucas Formula... Just the micro and bloom

thanks man i noticed that too... i wasnt sure if it was the light or just how i started the seeds... they stretched pretty well during germ and i planted the VK in the rockwool after the seed shell came off
but since then, they seem to be doing alright... i lowered the light a little bit last night, and changed the PH in them to about 5.8... i think the MH is hotter than my HPS, and my temps are 85-90... only thing i could really do is cop another 4" 160 cfm fan for about $100 and use it as an intake for cooler air or use it as a duct booster to get more heat out faster...

the VK was starting to droop over, so i gave them both a tiny bit of water on top of the rockwool before covering them up with hydroton... its not totally covered yet, but ill be adding hydroton to them as they get bigger and can take it... good look

pretty good man i was gonna snap some pics last night, but didnt feel like taking the time to do it lol... my camera is nice sometimes as long as it focuses right and the lighting is cooperating... they are starting to get another set of leaves in though! pics probably tmrw night....

in the mean time, has anyone heard of this stuff? guy at the hydro store said getting a co2 tank in my little tent wouldnt really be worth it, and told me to give this stuff a shot. supposed to work for about 6 months and is producing co2 while on the shelf.

phew that sounds good! seems like i got a pretty good headshop... always got new products lines to show me, along with the entire lines of AN etc... really the only one in the area and its bout 10 mins away!!

since co2 is heavier than air i got the bag sitting on the bucket lids for now... probably end up mounting it somewhere strategical :D for it doesnt just get sucked up out of the ducting once the screen gets set up... it would be more beneficial to have it above the plants correct?

Do your research on those Co2 Bags, Co2 Boost, etc.

They're just a gimmick from what I've read and asked. You won't be able to get enough Co2 for the plant to even benefit from. Results may very. Some say it works and a lot of people say it doesn't. Until you check the PPM's its enriching is when you will know.

Other than that, do some research before wasting your money bro.

Hey High as Space, what I meant to ask was what is the adjacent room temp that is getting you to 85-90 degrees with lights on?

shit well i got it already... either that or spend like $100 on co2 tank made for a way bigger tent.. im sure half of what it makes is wasted though :o

Don't forget the regulator and a decent controller. I don't think a co2 tank is the right fit for us with small unsealed cabs. There has to be a cheaper alternate way that's reliable.

This^ things can get expensive QUICK! I'll stick with my co2 bag until I'm growing in a warehouse for a co-op.

Op your plants are looking right on track fro one week great job so far.
