Diablo III Beta!

Earlier today I received an invitation to go to Blizzard HQ, at the end of July (27th to be exact), for a world first look at the Diablo 3 Beta (which means Beta won't be out before this event), as well as some new feature reveals, including information on Battle.net 2.0. In addition to these reveals and hands on play, we'll be able to sit in a fansite interview with a few developers, so if anyone has any questions, feel free to let me know in this post and I'll ask what I can! The event itself will be under NDA until August 1st, but I'll keep you all in the loop.
Now for some speculation... Keep in mind, there is still no release date, this could potentially be pretty big. As we know, they are shooting for the Beta to be released in Q3 and they want to have all system and game information revealed prior to that happening. With this event coming up, we will then be able to spill all the beans about the Beta, which could mean it could very well start very shortly after this event. Not only that, but depending on how long the Beta lasts, could mean that we may still potentially have a 2011 release date.
tl;dr Sign of the Beta.

I don't know if I'll actually play the beta even with an invite, it's usually not worth it for the sake of just playing, and there will be a million better actual testers then me. I'll more then likely watch some youtuber put out beta videos then jump right into it either near the end of beta or just when it goes live.
I'll be playing so much of this game, why burn myself out when it isn't even polished or fully released?

i've been waiting since like 8th grade! damn near 7 years. yeah, so hopefully they'll be a release date in Winter Blizzcon. with my loose school schedule this year, i'm thinking I might invest some money and go to my first ever blizzcon.
BOOOOO ive been waiting since 7th grade..... which was 10 fucking years ago ARG Blizzard made us wait for so long for SC2 and it was WEAK compared to what a game should be after that long of a hiatus.... this better make up for it and then some hahahaha

Diablo for me has never been a game to get turned off from. It takes a good long time getting your character to were they need to be. ill wait for the release as well, give me some more time to save for a new gaming pc
I think blizzard is doing its usual of keeping the game much below "cutting edge" graphics so every one who wants a piece can get some.... atleast i hope... i dont want to need to upgrade my fucking computer to play it.... doubt i will, but still... that would be lame

I imagine Blizzards best interests would be to have like a 2008 PC be able to run the game at or just below medium settings without much issue. 2006 PC bare minimum. 2010 PC Ultra settings.

Ultra WoW compared to WoW with no settings above bare minimum is a whole different ball game. Ultra SC2 compared to bare minimum SC2, while not as huge of a gap, there is still a sizable difference.

Yea thats what im saying, they always make sure anyone with a computer from the last few years is going to be able to play the game, Blizzard is nice in that manner hahahaha

Does it have vista or win 7 on it lol, thats why d2 doesnt work, its classified as "non-compatible" with vista and win 7, but there are a few work arounds.... my laptop has the same issue man, its the OS, not the computer hahahaha

XP .. im sure it has something to do with my graphic card .. it runs in normal window mode but just a tad bit laggy and that annoys me even for single player.
wow, yea, something must be up then.... The only computer i have that runs d2 without some weird window issue or compatibility issues is a 7 year old desktop i just have ghetto rigged in the corner of a room at my house, and its sole purpose, is for playing d2 lol
