Hey guys (and possibly gals), I'm in the process of moving my plants from a closet grow to a box in the back of a shed, The Dimensions are 2' deep, 4' tall, 3' wide. I'm going to put it in the back of a shed. The box is going to home 2 plants I have growing now (1.5 weeks into flowering); I'm worried about heat mostly, but smell a bit, too. I snatched 2 computer fans from an old computer I had, Wired them to 12 v wall plugs, I found a 6-7' duct laying around I plan to use. Something I read and I'm not sure about though, would it be smarter to have both fans exhausting, or 1 intake 1 exhaust? Apparently having more exhaust and passive intake would be more efficient for cooling the box. Its going to hold 12 CFL bulbs around the top on surge protectors. Im considering making an ONA gel bucket for the odor problem. Any ideas?

To control temps a little better you dont need 12 bulbs for only two plants26 watts each

12 is a lot but would probably pay off to have more light than less if the temps can be managed. You might want to consider getting a strong inline and use that for exhaust. I'm designing a hood to go over my CFL lights using Mylar to line it and use an inline to suck the air up into it and exhaust it

I also heard that you can put a piece of glass or acrilic in between the plants and lights

O that's a good idea! Keep the heat away from them. If you're using UVB light, it'll stop the harmful UV rays

I heard glass absorbs lumens? And I only have 8 lights now, so thats all Im installing for the time being, but if the temperature permits, Ill install 4 more because, well, why not?

Well as you can see, I attached the "T" pieces to hold the power strips on. Now with the fan casing, is it logical, or does it even make sense to have 2 fans in the same duct? It feels much more powerful blowing out with 2 fans rather than 1, Thanks for the answers

*sorry for the pictures being kinda blurry, you get the idea though

Haha thanks GBG, how many plants total do you think would fit in there? I planned on keeping it at 2, but im not sure, if I have more room, might as well utilize it! My brother who was helping me design the box is convinced the insulation on the sides and back is going to keep cool air in? Im guessing if anything its going to trap all the hot air in and make it harder to heat, although the reflective material is a bonus, I dont see it benefiting the temperature problem ? any ideas?
