    Ok well the title is a bit misleading...I'm not a COMPLETE noob when it comes to weed, I've been smoking it for the best part of a year but I've only ever smoked it in a spliff/joint.

    There are 2 main questions I want to ask:

    1. What is it like smoking from a bong? Is it hard to learn how to use and what bong would you recommend? (That question was a three parter).

    2. I also want to try salvia properly, I've smoked it before as a pure joint of the 5x and it did nothing, I know I know you have to use a bong for best results but I'm a bit skeptical. I was wondering, could I smoke a spliff which contained only 60x salvia and would it cause me to trip out as intensely as if I did it in a bong?

    the bong will take you 10 mins to learn how to use a bong they are great they purify the smoke and cool it off. they get you alot higher to. and for choosing a bong just get a lil 20 doller one from grasscity

    Make sure the bong is glass. Even if its your first, it's worth those few extra bucks.

    you do not have to use a bong for salvia (as far as i know) a pipe spoon or a one hitter may work

    Personally I get higher smoking the same amount in a bong than in a joint

    It takes me like 4 or 5 joints to even get buzzed, but my Illadelph, mflb, 5 dollar PVC mini bong or PVC bubbler gets me higher in 1 bowl.

    5 joints to get you buzzed? Each joint ALWAYS containing at least .25g...

    Does it seriously take you 1.25g+ to get buzzed?

    You probably just suck at rolling lol

    So...with a bong, do I just place some tobacco in the "bowl" (I think it's called that?) and put some weed ontop?
