Hey all.

Anyone have any experience with both a Mobius tube (with the original Zero Drag perc) and the new Hitman turbine tubes? I'm looking to spend approx. $500-700.

Posted Image

Mobius Exo
Pros
  • Love the shape of the "beaker"
  • Much cheaper
  • Bigger and taller than the Hitman
  • Thick motherfucking glass and joints

Cons
  • No fixed stem

Posted Image

Hitman Turbine
Pros
  • Turbine is incredible
  • Stemless

Cons
  • Straight tube (less durable)
  • Shorter than the Mobius

I would get a worked 2011bc lowrider with 48 grid tophat perk for 500 on
A L T

and how is a Striaght tube less durable then a beaker. beakers are blown out so the bottom is thinner making a weak point

mobius matrix perc, i own one and i love it.

the hitman piece just looks sort of gimmicky, ive seen the videos and i dont think the turbine effect is really that important

there are about 3 different variations of the turbine, that one^ is fucking awesome, the disc stacks and the turbine splash gaurd has a venturi effect, even thought i dunno howe much it does, i knw my sov kinda spins because the small bore and the ice pinches.

You really cant go wrong with either.

The hitman tubes are VERY nice. And will flow better than any mobius tube due to the downstem. The mobius perks flow great. But theres still a downstem that leads to a little drag (i have a Reti strato and a matrix nano).

I like my mobius stuff a lot, its very nice quality and very nicely balanced. But somewhat gimmicky.

I dont have a hitman yet. But i really want one. Its a much different style.

If it was me id go with the hitman or the 2010bc lowrider.

that hitman looks like it hits really well, and if I was spending that much on a piece, I'd want it to be a bit of a novelty...

I've hit a mobius, but never a hitman.

I would say that the mobius's are sweet, hit nice, are beautiful and are very well made - my friends fell off his desk (maybe 3.5 feet high) hit his desk chair, then the linoleum tile floor of his dorm room HARD. Absolutely no damage, so that says something.

I'd still recommend a stemless piece over a mobius. I really don't understand why circle hasn't elevated himself to stemless pieces yet.

Go with the hitman, or a better priced stemless option IMO.

I like how the cap perk on the mobius is staggered to compensate for the downstem tilt.

Pretty sure on their website it says they have a future line of stemless pieces that are in the works. Even if they haven't begun making them I'm pretty sure it says something about having stemless pieces in the future.

Okay midway through writing this I googled it myself and found this.

"For those who desire a smaller waterpipe, we are developing a Micro Series. Each have a bent neck top, stand under 12" tall and feature a fixed downstem with a recessed 19 mm Bistibil glass fitting."

Meaning they will have fixed stems, but they're gonna be small.

I would recommend the mobius of those two options. Also in that price its easy to look for customs and get exactly what you want and even a good bit of colorwork if you want it.

You can get nearly anything in that price range..the only stuff out of your range are usually collabs by really well known blowers and things like the sov peyote pillar. So ultimately you can really just look and get whatever is your favorite.

Would you go reti or matrix?
