i gots a question on using peat moss should i mix like 1/3 of my pot with it or a little more like 1/4 and the rest soil?The soil is MG and its just regular old peat moss also am i better off starting my seedling of in small cups full of Peat moss or just the soil any1 who has exp growing with this plz input
my suggestion is never start seeds in miracle grow soil, because they put fertilizers in their soil which will usually burn your plant, just use some regular potting mix from scott's or something, for your seedling that is and toss in a bit of perlite
and skip the peat moss too...peat moss tends to hold in too much moisture, especially if you use "small cups full of peat moss". Your seedlings' roots want to breathe, and lots of perlite will help them do that, just as Ghost said.
