Hash Oil Edibles

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by leggo, Jun 7, 2011.

  1. I've got some Hash Oil and was looking for some recipes to make some kind of personal size edibles with it?

  2. A personal sized edible, pretty much describes the (more) common edible, in general :) Or are you looking to make just single servings at a time?

Depending on your tolerance, 0.06g - 0.15g in extract or concentrate form is a good dose, and that's an awfully small quantity to work with when making a proper edible oil. It's certainly possible, but you're best starting with at the very least a gram or so. Once you've processed your hash oil, into an edible oil source, you can add it to any recipe you like... capsules, cookies, muffins, brownies. If you've made your edibles properly (meaning, if you've made them strong and efficient), you should try not to consume more than you would normally smoke in one session, or if you are a heavy smoker, more than you would smoke in one day.

A single-serve oil recipe: A level (tea)spoon and a half of cocoa powder, half teaspoon of cream, a few drops of vanilla, a half teaspoon of hash oil, and two slightly heaping spoons of confectioners sugar. Add and blend in the order listed, roll into a ball, coat in powdered sugar or cocoa, and you have a Hash Truffle. (working in all teaspoons to keep it simple, btw.)

Another single-serve recipe: A (tea)spoon of sugar, a spoon of flour, a spoon of cocoa powder, half an egg, and a pinch of salt along with your oil and a few drops of vanilla, mixed (add a half teaspoon of water for consistency, if the egg and oil didn't wet it enough), then put in a single greased muffin pan at 350 for 9 minutes. This will give you one decent Brownie.

But it's easier to dose and portion your edibles out, if you start with a set amount, and then use that set amount to make a small batch of edibles, so you can divide the end number by the amount of canna you used, to get the individual dose per edible... rather than trying to eyeball or weigh a tiny amount of oil, into a single serving.

Single servings can result in over-consumption and a disorienting, uncomfortable experience if you use too much, or a waste in material if you don't use quite as much as you should have, and don't have the extra edible handy to top it off.
