  1. hey, one of the locations that im growing has very clayie soil and is on a slope because of the cay it does not have the best drainidg in the world. so i was wundering if i dug down a few feet and put dowh pipes at ab angle going off the edge of the slope and replaced the clayie soil with compost would it be ok to grow?
     
  2. You could just grow in containers outside....that seems like the easiest solution. If it's absolutely necessary to put them in the ground I'd just dig a hole about 3-4 feet deep (post hole digger) and fill the bottom foot or so with gravel, then the rest with your preferred growing medium. I'd also make sure to mound the soil up and plant them at the top. Growing at the top of the slope you mentioned is a good idea as well....
