First outdoor grow

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by shadymonk3327, Feb 15, 2006.

  1. This is my first time outdoor grow.
The seeds are a strain of Kb killa'
The region i am growing is teh NE U.S.
I can water every day if nesessary.
Both my dad and uncle are experienced growers, but i do however havea few questions....

Is Fert absolutly nesessary? If so wut should i use?
What can i expect for a yeild per plant after about five months?

if you need anymore details, let me know.

    Any help welcome, thanx.

  2. You don't need to water every day. Every week or so is fine, and it might even rain! Ferts aren't absolutely necessary, but nutrients are essential to the plant's growth. It will grow better in fertile soil, or prepared composted soil. And yield varies wildly. It's much too early to plant now, too. Your babies won't survive the cold.

  3. o, i know it's too early now, i love my babies, and evan i hate the cold of new england, i'm going to germinate in late april and get them in the ground at my site hopefully within the first week of may.

could i possibly expect 4 Oz per plant, and what would i have to do to get them to yeild that much?

  4. no more help? come on i need it
but i have time, just need some pointers before i plant my babies

  5. The single most important thing you can do before starting this grow is to read. Go to the outdoor growing section of Grasscity here and just read every thread (including the stickys) and start participating in the discussions. Then once you have done that change the date on the thread parameters and read threads from month's even years ago. All this stuff has been done many times before and you are not going to reinvent the wheel. Also, consider picking up a couple of outdoor marijuana growing books. There are a myriad of them out there written by Ed Rosenthal and Mel Frank to name a couple. As of now you have a few months. Take this time to read up on everything there is to know about outdoor growing and your grow will be that more successful. Then 4 ounces per plant will be child's play.

  6. good advice

also - moved this to outdoor growing.
