Think you'll dig it Nash. I gotta check your soundcloud I haven't done that in a minute.:smoking:[/quote]

I'll check it out! :D And thanks, I appreciate it! It's ill to have fans, but still so wild when I'm mentioned out in public or online haha!

I'm working on an album though. I've written a few tracks to my beats, but I'm also planning on collabing with other producers/emcees. :smoke:

I just picked up a physical copy of Mega's Revolution of Yung Havoks album. And I noticed there's a different version of Hard Times featuring Masta Killa, replacing the slightly shortened version of the Hard Times track found on Yung World.

MK isn't listed as a feature on my copy, but is shouted out in the CD jacket. Anyone else's copy like this?

    :hippie:

  5. I made a thread on these guys a while back, glad to see they're still getting some spin. The Cold Vein is the greatest album ever made, in any genre of music, in my opinion.

    I agree completely. :D

  7. Very overlooked gem from Belief's Dedication album; one of the many classic Vordul/C-Rayz collabs. :smoke:

  8. Vordul Mega spittin off the head for three minutes. I believe this is from 1996.

  9. Cannibal Ox confirms NEW ALBUM coming in 2013!!!

    http://pigeonsandplanes.com/2012/11/...oming-in-2013/

Vast Aire revealed, “We never broke up, but the timing is now right for a new Cannibal Ox LP. Iron Galaxy Records is about to take over.” He also confirmed that he and Vordul Mega are in the studio now working on the album. Last year, El-P stated that there would never be another Can Ox album produced by him, so it will be interesting to see who the production on this one will come from.

Sounds promising! Imo, it may be better if El-P isn't involved in the process. Given that Cannibal Ox has started touring again, I'm thinking this is the real deal. Vordul Mega has never disappointed me thus far, lets see if Vast can step his game up for this record. The recent guest appearances prove this could work.

  10. That's great news!

What's with this 'we never broke up?' bullshit, though? They definately very clearly went their seperate ways and pursued solo shit. Aire probably realized he isn't as great without vordul so he got back on that cannox shit. That's my theory.

As for producers I want June Marx to collab with cannox, it will probably never happen but Junes beats have that gritty steampunk otherwordly ish to them. I couldn't find this as just an instrumental but check it out.

I think it would be a dope collab, especially if Marx spit on some tracks with them. Opinions? Nash you keep this thread alive more than I do.:p:smoking:

  11. As Spongebob would say, " I'm ready I'm ready I'm ready!"

  12. Hell yeah, can't wait.

  13. Haha thanks! Cannibal Ox are my favorite duo, so I try staying up to date. As for the whole "We never broke up", they've appeared on every one of each other's solo releases, and collabed with various artists as a duo from 2003 to present.

I've never heard of June Marx, but he would sound ill with Cannibal Ox! I'm diggin these! :D

Of all Cannibal Ox solo releases though, I STRONGLY recommend Vordul Mega's Revolution of Yung Havoks (2004). Classic LP.

  15. Thanks for the list of tracks to peep Nash. Since you said el-P wouldn't be producing this cannox album I've been wracking my brain thinking of people that would be nice with vordul and aire. Check out elhuana, really really dig this guys beats. The coolest part? He makes them all with just a tape recorder and casette with some sampled sounds.

says June marx but water is prod. by elhuana as well.

I wonder who they're going to collab with on this one.

  16. Wow!!!! Elhuana is ridiculous! Crazy production. And no prob, gotta spread them good hip hop vibes. :D

  17. This thread is a wealth of Vordul and Vast Aire GEMS! Nash has posted some seriously amazing tracks, don't sleep on this shit people!!~!:D:smoking:

This is the one thread I've ever made I will always continue to come back to, no matter what.

  18. I'd rep you. But I apparently need to "spread more rep before repping tokinbud420 again". Hahaha. Thank you though.
