I live in southern arizona and was plannin on starting my first outside grow. Now I was plannin on planting in between some mountain in a hidden place with very little visibility from helicopters without restricting on light...Now I was wondering if i had a 5 gallon bucket and started a plant around febuary (Temperatures ranging from 80 degrees to 98 degrees) if it would survive in the desert as long as I kept it watered. Thanks for any responses!
got another arizona grower. Im up in mesa. If your gonna grow outside, start sometime soon before it starts getting to hot. Right now is the perfect time to start.
being from wisconsin, i dont have to worry about the heat much. but here is an idea for the warmer sunny parts of the world. shade cloth. http://www.cloudtops.com/greenhouse_shade_cloth.htm help ya out in heat, watering and stealth. if i waz in the desert, id dig a shallow hole and shade cloth over the top of it. 90F + everyday is quite hard on MJ. one needs to get the temp in the low 80's for optimal.
I saw an outside grow journal last summer, and the guy had that white wavey fiber glass shit used on like play srtuctures n shit they made a little hut outta them and the plants grow in the huts you couldnt see inside all all to but alot of light got in
