Antler pipes

  1. I made a couple moose antler pipes in woodshop and I was wondering what would be a good sealant for the bowl?

  2. I would just put a metal screen in it and have it be a fat bowl.

  3. Burning antler smells naaasty, I imagine it would taste like ass if you got your bowl too hot.

Screw in a metal or wooden bowl from a headshop.

  4. These are the pipes I made in the mist of shaping the one bowl and have to get the holes in the other

  5. I haven't tried them yet I want to get the bowls sealed before using them

  6. Sick man. I've mad pipes, but they've always been out of Soapstone. How's they work?

  7. The pipe has to be broken in slowly and allowed to carbon up the bowl lining. If the bone actually releases smoke when breaking it in it will be very strong and unpleasant.
Once the bowl has a good lining of carbon like a well seasoned tobacco pipe it will smoke smooth if the stem is kept clean. Some people use a light film of honey to get the bowl to carbon up faster.

  8. The first one works great but I need to prepare the bowl and I'll try the honey and c if that works thx bro
