Im going to be growing outdoors come spring, and ill be posting a grow journal here on gc. I just wanted to know if there are any tips anyone would like to share. I'm a complete ""newb"" at growing and wanted to know how I would be able to tell the male and female apart, so I can rip those fuckers out, and how many plants should I be planting so I can get the idea of how many seeds I should be getting while its not growing season to start collecting. well im a newb myself.. i just started my grow earlier today.. just some good midgrade bagseed i ddnt expect em to germ but all 5 did(paper towel n bag one) so now ive got them all planted n im expecting sprouts in like 2 days mayb? o well neway to answer ur question u have to wait unitil they are done vegging.. the females will have white hairs on the top of their colas and the males will have little balls.. like i said im a newb so im prolly not explaining it perfectly but i think i got the right idea.. experts correct me if im wrong.. there has been plenty of posts on this.. search button works wonders.. tho im to lazy to look rite now..
Yeah do a search on Marijuana Male/Female flowers. It will show a picture of both. You want be able to tell the sex of the plant untill it starts budding. Good luck, peace be the journey!
