I dunno what you're asking for. Setting up a Mac is super easy. Just click on the icon for system preferences that looks like a gear, then go thru all the icons inside for how you want your trackpad to function and the other things. There are help buttons inside everything to explain what's going on. Couldn't be simpler. PM me if you've got any specific questions you need help with. Good luck...you'll enjoy your new computer. I got a Cinema 27 Monitor for Christmas that I use with my laptop. Simple to hookup to the MacBook with just one cable. I use it with the lid closed so it's just like using a desktop computer. I'm using a MagicTrackpad, and keyboard both wireless...works like a charm. I don't care for the MagicMouse so I stick with the trackpad which is super cool once you get the hang of it.

MBP's are sweet. My wife's Macbook we bought in 2005 just died. Six years of frequent use...awesome computer.

The massive fail?open, on, win? what am i missing here?
Ok, no mac hating this time, but macs are incredibly easy. Its mostly set up when you get it, and the only thing you might want to do after that is install the programs you want.
I had a MBP. 06. Died in about 2 years. Apple refused to do anything about it. Now its a hunk of metal

Bootcamp does that. Apple - Support - Boot Camp
(of course it wouldve been a lot cheaper to dual boot snow leopard on a win 7 laptop with equal specs, but that could be complicated)
