Ok, swim recently picked up some White Widow (gets it from grower he's known for 10-11 years now, so trust the strain names are legit), anywho-it looks great - really light green, crystals all over, smells so strong that had it triple-bagged and inside a jar and room still stunk bad enuf that swim was worried about parents smelling it, smells of an extremely pungent fruity/weedy odor. but when swim smokes it, the high is almost non-existent, there is almost absolutely no body to it, and only a lil bit of a head change.
when swim mixed it with other bud (bubble gum) he got from same grower, it was awesome, the bubble gum was really stony, and the widow kinda crept up on him but when it hit it was almost trippy like his eyes were playin tricks on him, but now he has nothing but about 1.4g of the widow left and kinda disappointed that he wont really be getting high like he'd like to.
swim looked at the hairs n they are really light yellowish/goldish n some are still white so he assumes it was harvested early, but the crystals are all cloudy/milky white.
swim usually smokes indicas so is used to the stonier blazed feeling, could this have something to do with it since white widow is supposed to be more of a sativa high, or did the grower go wrong somewhere in the growing/curing process?
what could be a plausible explanation for this?

btw, swim smoked some earlier (about 1 1/2 bowls) and there was a miniature body high, and a lil bit of a head high but mostly nothing besides mood improvement, and when he ate munchies he was watchin a comedy movie and could not stop laughing to the point that even when nothing funny was going on he was still laughing bout the fact the he was laughing so much it jus all seemed so funny to him.
