Don't ever go to Chester, Pa

  1. Yeah the lights can be pretty ridiculous there. Shitty LITTLE dim traffic lights on the corner. I'm so used to BIG bright lights high overhead, not 8 feet off the ground.

  2. Damn man good to hear your alright though, back when I was 15 some ghetto kid (who ended up in the village for cutting off his tethor and leaving the state) tried to hold a gun to me over a $5 bag.. I ran like hell lol good thing it was a BB gun

  3. Damn man, glad you and your girlfriend got out okay. I had a similar occurence one time but the people were outside of the vehicle and I was able to drive off in time. Btw, this is the exact same way my dealer got robbed of 2 ounces of medical dank.

  4. this made me laugh..hahaha

  5. I wanna go to chester, pa cuz thats where the philadelphia union play and i wanna see a live game but ive been holding off on tix til i kno if ill be ok just walkin n and outta the stadium. I kno chester isnt to b fucked with. Scary place for sure. And im a city boy from philly. But its just NOT the same

  6. Aha I live ten minutes from chester...its worse than a lot of parts in north philly. My friend actually just got robbed for an ounce down there last week...so I'm not surprised that happened lol.

  7. You'll be fine in a place like that, like I'm going to the casino tomorrow. Just get to where you are going and no where else. Is the stadium even done yet?

  8. i got burned for a quarter pound one time in philly, made my money back in a few days cause i was dealing at the time, but... shit sucks.. feel ya dude

  9. It's alot of fun, I got tickets for a few games last season.
There's a group called Sons of Ben that have like a whole bleacher section, I'm a hockey fan but I found it pretty cool how soccer fans really get into it.

You're fine getting there off 95 and just sticking towards like the river side where the casino and jail is, just can't make a wrong turn and end up in a bad neighborhood.

OP- What a read, I was scared just driving along to get gas. Glad you're ok, couldn't imagine being in that position haha.

  10. Your punk ass dealer should've stabbed that fuck. But that could've ended a whole lot differently.

  11. I believe this story, shit like this happens all the time.

I probably wouldn't have gone into the ghetto looking to pickup (a couple free ounces?) in the first place. Oh well, you learned your lesson.

  12. Oh nice. Im a flyers fan too (die hard) not one of those kids that wears flyers shirts once they make the playoffs! I loved hockey all my life but lately ive found enjoyment in watching various soccer games on tv( i think i love the fact theres no commercials during play) now that u told me that u made it there and back a few times i feel a little more prepared. Just would hope i wouldnt get lost! What part of phillly r u from?

Im from northeast(mayfair) but moved outta there a ways back to south jersey.

  13. The whole situation of herbing you for money, then calling you back is all funny money.

I wouldnt be surprised if the people that robbed both of you are your dealers mans, and the just split everything between themselves. That shit happens all day over here.

  14. Haha the immediate moment I noticed we were in Chester, I would've bailed high or not. Grew up in Ridley Park, which is... well let's just say that I grew up on the 'fortunate' side of the tracks.

Essentially, you drove into an extremely impoverished and crime-ridden town that causes people believe "dope" is as bad as many people say it is.

I guess simply look back at it and just enjoy the fact a murder didn't take place in your back seat.

I'm surprised I haven't heard many hip-hop artists say: "Straight out of Chester."

Take a toke to celebrate another day of life, a life most likely better than most of the lives people live in that town!

  15. Bro, as shitty as it was, you guys did the right thing. Someone would have been shot if your ex dealer pulled a knife. In all reality, you lost under $200. Your ex-dealer lost a grand. You both walked out alive, so I think you got the last laugh.

Smoke a bowl and enjoy life! I'm glad to hear you're okay.

  16. In a way the fact that he lost $1000 makes it kinda worth it even though you lost another $60 lol.

  17. Yea karmas a bitch! :hello:

    @DutchMaster

95th and state is south side yes, it's fucking wild down there, i went down there on two occassions, the first one i went to pick a friend up at the red line and i pulled out of the terminal where i picked him up and it was like 8 at night and there was a gang of cats across at a gas station and i had my system turned up and next thing i knew a bottle hit my window and 3 of them started walking towards my car, i just floored it and got on the dan ryan, mother fuckers don't play down there

2nd occassion was when my car got jacked but i was actually in a neighborhood, not near the express way, even then when i was looking for a good neighborhood, i was no where near one so i just walked towards the dan ryan and got near the side of the road cause i knew no one would bother me there

  19. That's a pretty intense story man, thanks for sharing. I'm not too worried about something like that happening to me though, I'm way too cautious. The last thing I'd ever do is go to a private place with any drug dealer.

  20. Is Widener in Chester? I was there two years ago at a party on campus and some kid apparently was curb stomped on my car and I couldn't leave obviously until the medics and police cleared. There was still a little bit of blood on the ground when we finally did leave.
