I listened to every song posted in this thread and I only like two of them; Base Your Face and My Diary. Honestly, once I kinda learned what this dude was about I've really been trying to give him a chance but I just can't stand his voice/flow.

It's just terrible, in my opinion.

    Edit:

And when you say Slept on as FUCK... I think of shit like..
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlMsNGInjt0[/ame]

Lil B is non existent as far as I'm concerned. And yes I understand this is an "appreciation" thread so I will leave now.

    lol

All you have to say about him is "swag" ?

cmon dude, and god the irony

    lol

Yeah, the whole "STAY BASED, STAY POSITIVE" "UM HOLDEN HIM DOWN ###BASED STAY BASED@@" is really annoying, and only being able to say "swag" after listening to him is definitely not a good thing, artists should leave you with their knowledge, opinions, views, ideas, thoughts, etc. You should be thinking about what they just fed your brain not "swag" "based" The same thing happened with Wiz Khalifa bandwagon fans, a huge majority of "taylors" are retarded suburban spoiled kids who never listened to hip hop until they heard a Wiz song.

I've listened to a few songs and most of the lyrics are pretty damn dumb to be honest, really just below average, gonna listen to more and edit.

How many of you have been BASED since The Pack?

  10. lol only thing amazing is that he got Phonte (one of my favorites) and 9th back together..

and i dont wanna see none yall mofos runnin round sayin Phonte is the best cuz he was on a track with Based God.

i been sayin Te's the illest..point blank period

  11. He hadn't invented it yet? You don't sound like you've listen to his songs...

Got my vans on but they look like sneakers. "These vans don't cost cheese real *****s wear these" hahaha

  12. Based was not invented back then. You are taking this way too seriously. You either like him or you don't. I enjoy a lot of his work and I'll leave it at that.

  14. Because of this thread I've been listening to Lil B for like an hour and he's grown on me for one reason only, some of his tracks are real and really good, while the first shit I listened to was complete and utter garbage (those same songs still haven't grown on me). "The bible" I just listened too is great, but that Wonton Soup still makes me cringe haha I've honestly never seen a rapper have that big a gap in quality in songs.

  15. I'm really liking Lil B's new mixtape, Illusions of Grandeur.

    Especially this song...

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPMnl7pBLII]YouTube - Lil B - Who You Love [Illusions of Grandeur Mixtape][/ame]

    The beat goes hard.

    Also

All of those songs, I find colossal.

  16. And I don't know what you're talking about. The debut album for The Pack was called Based Boys!

So what are you trying to say that people are just jumping the band wagon because they weren't the pack's number one fan? I know the album is called basedboys (I actually bumped a few of their songs once the vans debute hit), but the whole based thing wasn't used as heavily until lil b ran with it and called himself the based god. Chill dude forreal. I feel like you are out to prove something to his fans when really we just enjoy his music :hello:
