This Is My First Time Growing And Any Useful Tips Would Be Greatly Appreciated. I'm Using A Hydroponics System I Made Myself. It's A 10 Gallon Tote And I Cut 2 Holes In It For 2 Pots (I Only Want To Grow 2 At A Time). I Also Have A Pump Placed Into The Tote That Pumps The Nutes To The Plants. The Pump Is On 24 Hrs A Day And A Air Stone Is Also Placed Next To The Pump And That Is Also On 24 Hrs A Day. I'm Using CNS17 As My Primary Nute For My Vegging But I Also Mix In "The Original Pure Blend Metabolic Grow Formula" And I Have To Honestly Say It Is Doing Wonders For Me. Everything Is Going Good So Far But I Need To Section Off My Closet With Some More Mylar And Hopefully Begin To Flower. I'm On My 8th Week Of Vegging And She Is Ready To Be Flowered. My Only Question I Have At This Moment Is... What Nutes Are Best For Flowering? I Have Fox Farm Big Bloom Right Now And I Heard It Works Well But I'm Always Willing To Hear About Different Nutes Out There And What They Can Do. I Forgot To Mention I'm Using A Glow Panel LED Grow Light. It Covers 1.5 Square Ft And Is 14W (It Says It Replaces A 75W HPS But Who Knows). I'm Aware It's A Crappy Light But I'm A Rookie Guys And I'm Definitely Learning From My Mistakes. I'm Planning On Ordering A Better Light Later Today And See What That Can Do For My Plants And The Buds

What kind of lighting are you considering? What are your limitations (money, heat, space?) CFL, HPS or LED?

hope this helps...
I in no way shape or form work for or are trying to advertise for them, but based on everything on the market, you really can't beat the prices on BLACKSTAR LED units.
Here's your problem. Those 225 red/blue panel lights are 30-40$ ea., maybe cheaper if you buy 2x or 4x at a time, but they don't have the penetration to grow any real weight, the diodes i'm sure are cheap and random spectrum.
I wouldn't go smaller than 90w's of LED but it's also not wise to invest in the cheaper 90w UFO lights that use 1watt LED's. These too have proven to not have enough penetration. 3w is the best common standard available. But I'm sensing you want the best bang for your buck so here's what i recommend for a small successful grow.
150w HPS can be found for around $90 - cheap, easy, can grow a few ounces.
get a large fan and blow across the bottom of the light (10-20$)
or
90watt UFO using 2w LEDs for around $150 on Ebay - minimum 2w diodes for flowering.
But if you can muster the cash i don't think you can beat the
240watt blackstar 3w LED - About $300
and the 150w Dr. Growrite w/ 3 watt diodes looks good too - $225
These are all ebay LED units.
LED's are an Investment Heavy, Long Term Rewards product. You will be more more satisfied if you can get somthing that gives good results and carry you into future generations of LED growing.(don't get first generation stuff)
and
Depending on how many watts you are willing to use, go to homedepot. They sell Cord/Socket for 5-6$, 42watt 2700K CFL's are 8$ and you can easily add 2600lumens for supplemental lighting. "Y" splitter for two bulbs per light socket.
You could do an entire CFL grow, heat not being much of an issue, but by the time you buy all the blubs, sockets, cords, power strips. You're probably really close to having enough to purchasing a better single unit light.

get some more light in there! forget the little 14W LED for the sole light source. at least add in a couple of CFL's. will cost you almost nothing up front and the same for power.

nothing is happening because it is too soon to flower that seedling and its only been 1 week anyway. also it doesnt look healthy. what is your pH? ppm?

I had the plant in veg for a LONG time and its more than 1 ft tall. I know the plant look hurt but im trying to get it to recover and hopefully atleast get something from it... this is my first grow so its trial and error for me. I'm thinking of cutting off the dried out leaves and changing the light from 12/12 to 11/13 or even 10/14. You mentioned its only been 1 week... how long does it take to see the white hairs im looking for?

i would not put any plant into flower if it is not healthy and growing actively. some plants will show sex in a week, others 2 weeks, but a sick plant will take even longer. if that was mine i would leave it on 12/12 for another week until it shows its sex and then put it back into veg 24/0 until it is healthy, bigger, and growing well. then you can put it into flower (assuming its female)
with such a shitty light you really really need to train that plant. read up on scrog. and if you really care about that plant you will at least add a CFL. it will only cost you $10. also as you didnt mention pH or ppm i guess you dont have meters. you cant grow hydro without them. they also cost $10-15 on ebay. so invest the few $ or change to soil.
if you dont listen to my and the others advice and make some changes you will get a 10 minute smoke session out of 8 months of work.

just because it has been in veg for 8 weeks doesnt mean you should put it into flower.

Do you or anyone know where to get some good LED's and for a good price?
HA! If you found GOOD LEDs for a good price let us all know. To my knowledge they don't exist. I have a piece of shit LED that cost $700 originally.
EDIT: It's not really a piece of shit but not worth the price, plus i dont really use it. I use some CFLs over it for my secondary applications.
