As with all Dutch Passion strains, this variety went through rigorous quality control testing before being released in order to ensure that potency and growth were fully characterized and stabilized. Mekong High branches like a bush, so each plant needs room to form side branches in order to realize its potential. This plant forms an impressive central bud that can grow to be the legth of one's arm, but it still invests a significant amount of its flowering stregth in the side branches, which are nearly as long. With plenty of nutrients, Mekong High can grow to final sizes of about 6 feet (2 meters) high and nearly as wide. When lit properly and allowed to grow to its potential, these plants yield a surprisingly generous harvest for a sativa. The industrious side of rbanching combine with the 15 to 20 inch (40-50 cm) long buds that bulk up the yield to a range more typically expected from the indica side of the family. The Mekong High plant has many telltale characteristics that mark it as a sativa, including slender leaves that are bright, fresh green. Late in flowering, the plants take on an exquisite, rich and spicy aroma, and some may develop copper and purple coloration on the leaves. While some sativas prove to be delicate, these plants are robust and vigorous, showing resistance to mold and bud rot. This crop provides some enviable sativa headstash. Mekong High Day 6 I think... 2nd leaf set starting to come out. gonna give her 300ppm nutes next watering, then in bubble bucket @ about week 2 mark.
Mekong finally has some roots in the water... anyone have a mutated leaf like mine?? i have never seen this b4. couple small la con clones...and 2 grapefruit haze clones about a month into flower.

Mekong about 13" tall will put her into flower 4/10/11 Tang Dream(pic2) staying small b/c light is 24 inches away b/c other plants are taller and im lazy...all 3 taller clones and mekong will go into flower 4/10/11 and then tang dream,blue cheese(pic3) and HDF(pic4) will get more attention.
Looking great Joe! I'll stop back by and update later tonight.. With the male in the cabinet I had to put my seedlings directly in the grow.. Hopefully they don't get a shock from the cold.. We will see..
Coming back for tonights update.. The girls are going strong.. The mekong is getting huge.. I'm trying to hold off on clones till I finish my male in the cabinet, but I'll be taking a clone of her in the next few weeks.. Linh (Mekong) And now for the younger girls.. Kim (Northern Lights blue) I'll probably have a room full of this since it is supposed to be a low smelling strain.. My plan is to clone her and have at least 3 of the 5 or 6 in the flowering room as this strain.. Nala (Vortex) will be taking one clone as well when she gets bigger And finally the little guys.. Olivia and Penelope..I'll start posting those up if anyone else is in.. Here is my mekong..1 month and 16 days old.. Next going into flower.. Also when she dries out from yesterdays watering I'll be cloning her.. I'll probably supercrop her closer to flower.. I really like how the clones looked after waiting a while to lst.. Now for the other two girls.. Both rooted on 4-1 Northern Lights Blue- Kim Vortex Nala Both just transplanted into 2 gallon smart pots while the mekong was transferred into a 5 gallon smart pot.. Tangerine Dream(20"tall) and Mekong High(18.5"tall) - 1st day of 12/12 = 4/10/11 Running them with AN 1000ppm balanced transition nutes + CalMag. Supercropped both, but the Tang snapped right back and I think i only upset her more, b/c she grew 5 inches since then...grrrr. Blue Cheese might get cloned out, she is my insurance policy, if any of my other reg strains(shark stock, chocolope or heavy duty fruity) decide to take too long or i screw something up and can't get them grown up and cloned by 5/15/11. then the seedlings. The 4 top ones in 1st pic are the HDF, 1 on bottom is Catpiss aka Skunk#4 2nd seedling pic is the shark stock, sprouted yesterday. 2 of the 6 that i sprouted have this genetic anomoly where there are 3 cotyldons. last is the chocolope...

Possibly might be.. Either that or I'll just go with important females through history.. Let me know how stinky the hdf gets.. I might pick a few up closer to winter.. Although with the grow lights on the flowering room is 81.. Which means next paycheck I need to get one inline fan.. I'll also probably get a carbon scrubber as well.. Then the grow would be complete.. May get a exhaust for the vegg room as well.. The cfls may get hotter than I thought in that tight area.. They were looking good though last night so I'll try to update later.. I've started lst on the mekong.. Gonna have a bush on my hands If I'm not careful I may have to put her into flower sooner than I was expecting..
