Everyone is talking about the Kendrick album and the Drake mixtape. Low key, though, Lupe kinda returned to form with Tetsuo & Youth. It isn't a classic like his freshman and sophomore efforts, but it's his best album since The Cool. Thoughts y'all?
Many people were in here discussing the T&Y lupe album when it dropped. I liked it a lot.. but it has had significantly less replay for me than other albums this year. The cool is definitely his best album IMO Ditto. Ditto.
Rihanna | #BBHMM: http://youtu.be/OgY5eHnZY3k Riri has gone trap. I kinda like it. I could play it in the whip, but not much of a club song. I'm glad that she's trying different styles. That's how one evolves as an artist.

I believe I liked Yeezus on first listen. I know I'll grow to like To Pimp a Butterfly, cause I did vibe to a number of tracks on first session. I think I just didn't like how it started.
The ending with Tupac was eerie. I swear Kendrick is Tupac's soul reincarnated, which means that he was having a conversation with himself from his former life. Of course that is insane spiritual mumbo jumbo, but it sure is an interesting concept.
Lil Bibby & Lil Herb - Ain't Heard About You (Kill Shit Pt. 2): http://youtu.be/H2z-Auk46zQ Some new school trill music $UICIDEBOY$ - DEAD BATTERIES (PROD. $UICIDEBOY$): http://youtu.be/oPERCT50yVM The last few years in rap/hip-hop have been mostly ruled by Atlanta and Chicago. I wonder what city will be the next to blow. It seems like Detroit is coming up with Dej Loaf and New Jersey is coming up with Fetty Wap and his clique.
Can't believe we've got some grime fans on here haha. Been following the sends too. You should look up Devilman's response on smoke nation and Saskilla's response on grime report (both obviously on YouTube, I just can't post links on my phone). You gotta admit though, chip was decent in the beginning, but he fell off a long time ago (pretty much when he released Oopsy Daisy). None of the real G's in the grime scene would give him any respect now haha.
1 was cool, #2 just sounded so try hardy to me. The lyrics were just abysmal for what people hyped it up to.
The first one is hard to top and I agree that some of the songs on the second one felt kind of forced, but overall the political message was still strong which is what's most important. And the production was on point. I liked the lyrics, but some of the delivery was lacking. I support Killer Mike is nearly everything he does though. And I didn't know of El-P until RTJ
Its hard to hate on Killer mike. I wish El-P would have rapped a lot less. He is just unimpressive for the most part.
Greatest independent artist to ever do it. Tech N9ne - Aw Yeah? (interVENTion) - Official Music Video: http://youtu.be/Sxks3Z6QByc
I'm digging most of Kendricks album! The beats are funky, production is dope. Only negative is that my husband keeps telling me daily, "This dick aint freeeee..." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDn0WViwWiQ
Well, bitch, I'm out here puttin' on I hope you feel the pain I'm feelin', when you hear this song Don't want a nigga that's gon' slang shit up in your home But you ran off and got engaged, man, that shit was wrong All to a nigga that don't got nothin' that I ain't got Only difference is, he tryna be a fuckin' astronaut Saw this pussy nigga when I walked up in the barber shop Green as a leaf, lookin' sweet, that cut a nigga deep
Why do ppl sleep on these guys theyre fire and have that 90s sound? ( at least 3 very good songs on the mixtape) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gowffl_TkmA
