I put my son on his first salmon here lol. 42 inches approx weight 35 lbs chinook salmon here in Southern Oregon. About a 10 minute struggle to land this buck on the bank.
not a good pic.... but fish nonetheless. Here go a couple late season halibut from SF bay today. Between my 2 buddies and i we managed to get 7 onto the boat.

yeah man its an MXL, just the basic one.. Strapped onto custom wrapped calstar T196. Love it. It gets a lot of attention, but more importantly it fucking slays fish! Lol
Gearing up for the upcoming season on the Chesapeake Bay...season in Md. opens in April for Stripers/Rockfish and then coming in mid May - June the Cobia come in the Bay and it is on! Straight up fish kill...gotta killem to grillem...right back into the Spanish Mackerel and Big Reds in the Fall and back into Striper season ending in Dec in Md... This year we are going to move our 2 big boats 46' Posts...down to the Inlet area near Rudy to do some offshore fishing as well.... Nothing better then running to the fishing grounds burning a wax pen watching the sunrise getting ready to kill some fish.
Went out and slayed a few rainbows with my buddy after work yesterday. It was a good day. Chased em down with a fat blunt and some fresh sweet tea with lemon and fresh mint.
Went to do an estimate right next to the lake today so I stopped back in there and got dinner. As long as I was so close it would be a shame not to.
Thanks and welcome to The City man! Let's see some of yours. I made this thread about 6 years ago and we've been lacking pictures for a long time now. It's summer ya'll, time to fish!
