When i was fishing the first time this year the only thing i was able to get is 6 perch, each one was about 3-6 pounds
well maybe there was some exaggeration in that haha but that one above in the pic was a 5 pounder, the others were all almost 3 pounds and one 4 pounder
Hoping to get on the lake on my 2 days off this week. Should catch a lot of crappie off the floating pier. Tied some christmas trees to it to make a nice fishing spot. .................................................... I dont do drugs, I set plants on fire and breathe.
If you would have read the following post you would have seen they ate the shark. Tuna and salmon you can kill but shark out of the question? Your just more biased towards certain animals? Are you vegan? Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Fresh water perch? I have caught a boat load of perch but they never got anywhere close to that size.
perch can be susceptible to stunting, similarly to bluegill. In a healthy lake, yellow perch can grow quite large. large specimens can average out from 14-18 inches. The largest perch ive heard of hit something around 20-21 lbs.. 6 lbs is a stretch, but 4 lbs is definitely possible.
I used to fish a small man made lake that the tug boats used off of lake Superior in the UP of MI. You could catch a bucket full of pearch most of them being about 12 - 14" long.
caught some nice native brookies on rainbow lake, up toward mount katahdin. bugs haven't hatched yet, so it was a little slow. but i got pounds and pounds of chaga. really roused the mushroom hunter hibernating within me.
Man I wish I knew how to upload photos I've been doing well on the smallmouths the last couple of years. Any one on this board fish the susquehanna river?
Been awhile since I've posted here... Muskie Country was good to me. Caught on vintage Fenwick glass.
I went fishing for the first time in ages today. I landed 6 but only took home 3 and I had 4 that slipped off the hook before I could bring them in. I also caught a young Kokanee, a first for me. All in all not a bad day. 11 1/2 inch Rainbow trout 12 in juvenile Kokanee and 10 1/2 in rainbow trout,
