I was gonna wait for summer to make this thread so I have some good pics but I figured what the hell, I'll do it now. We still have ice fishing and I'm sure everyone has old pictures to brag on.

Post a pic of your fish, where you caught it, what you caught it on and if you measured or weighed it, how big was the beast?

Lets see them trophies!

I know I already posted one or two of these and hell, one is even my avitar, but I'll put em up anyhow for the sake of gettin this thing rollin'.

These were all caught the same day on Silver Lake in Illinois using a Texas rigged 8' motor oil colored Berkley Power Worm in about 10 feet of water at the bottem of a rock slide. Just bumpin it off the bottom and gettin picked off.

My best fishing story is when I went on a tuna trip out of lewes, delwaware. We didnt have much luck with the tuna, but we did manage to bring in a 300+ lb mako shark at 2am in like 20ft waves. The skipper suprised the hell out of me when he whipped out a shotty and put 2 buckshots in its head. Now we were never quite positive about its actual weight, but it was a big mother fucker. The port we were fishing out of had this one wooden scale that they had used for the past 30 years or so, and our bad ass catch managed to break that mother fucker! :hello:

Ill try and dig some pics up, this musta been like 5 or 6 years ago.

Not me in the pic, and the only one I could find.

Nice catch devoke. It looks lime the head is about to rip off. What did you guys do with him? Shark feast? I have always wanted to do some shark fishing. I would keep the jaws to mount on my wall.

We cut it into massive shark steaks and split it between the 6 of us(along with the rest of the catch, ill see if I can find some more pics).

It was a bittersweet trip for us. As much fun as deep sea fishing is, most of us spent the 20 hour excursion deathly sick due to the huge swells a couple miles out. Ive been wanting to go fishing since the start of last summer, but ive yet to make it out. I feel like its one of those things I wanna go do least once again but will never get around to it. :(

Come on blades, get some fish up here! I know there are more than 2 of us with fish pictures. If your scared to post your face just use paint to block it out real quick and put em up. Lets get a good brag board going here.

I know what you mean. Several years ago my dad and I went out on a charter in San Diego for calico bass and the swells were so big that my dad was turning green and couldnt even get up and I spent a gread deal of the trip sick too. I finally just had to reach down and grab a pair so I could do some fishing. Caught a few nice fish but I was still ready to hurl while I did.

Did he hit on the hot dog or the beer? If he hit on the beer, I might be inclined to let him go :D

EDIT - ...because he's a cool cat :)

I don't think it's a channel cat. Smaller channels usually have a deeply forked and pointed tail.

Can't find any picture right now, I'll have to pull some off my phone later. Last time I went fishing I caught a nice 5lb bass, I usually don't catch anything during wintertime either.

Here are some fish from the last 2 years. I really cant wait for summer. Most were caught off dana point jetty / pier and some were caught off san clemente pier both in california. I just wanted to post some fishy porn for you guys. I just got a kayak and im hoping to be hitting up some super secret shores and caves (if thats legal). I will have my permit again for the third year in a row. Most of these fish were caught on squid sliced in to 1''-1/2'' strips.
i was going to start my own fish pic thread but found this! Take some time to look at the types of fish you can catch in the ocean if you have never fished it! Attached File  SSPX0036.jpg   356.94K   215 downloads

Well alright man! Thats what Im talkin about. Where and how did you catch that lobster? Did you have a trap or he just grabbed your line and didnt let go?
I know a few places where there are a ton of big ass crawfish and I catch them by just pissing them off real good with a treble hook untill they attack and then the just dont let go till its too late.

I cant wait for spring. Im gonna fill this thread with pics.

I have a couple pics I can post but I have so many saved and my 'puter is so unorganized with picture folders all over the place, it's gonna take a while to find any. I'll get a couple up soon.
