I've made a couple threads in the past that included pics/videos of various pieces in my collection, and many people requested I post pictures of my collection in its entirety. So, rather than making a new thread every time I buy a new piece (which happens more often than it should) or have a new photoshoot, I decided to adopt the idea several members on this forum have implemented and just have one main thread that I continually add to every time I have an update.

I got my first piece about a year ago, and my interest in glass quickly progressed to an obsession, and now I'd consider it an addiction. So far, I have 40 bongs/bubblers, and have invested a little over $30,000 total, and though I could have easily bought a very nice car or something for that much money, not a day goes by where I don't stare and smile at my babies and think "yeah, it was worth it." I would even go as far as to consider myself an art collector, except the art I collect is much more functional and enjoyable (to me) than a painting or sculpture. I get just as much enjoyment out of looking at them and watching my friends enjoy them as I do using them myself. I truly respect and admire the work and artistry that goes into all their amazing detail, and I try to clean each one thoroughly after each use. And to this day, I have not broken a single one (knock on LOTS of wood).

So, to start off my official collection thread, I took pictures of every piece I currently own (as of 1/15/2011). Though it's almost impossible to pick favorites, I did my best to arrange the pics in order of my favorite piece to my least favorite (the ones near the bottom of my list I bought before I really knew much about glass, so you can see the gradual progression in taste and quality).

I hope you enjoy!

First, a couple pics of the whole gang:

im interested in seeing the straw perc in a milkvid. that angles you shot the picss from is amazing by the way. which jetpack a/c do you feel creates a smoother hit?

Sweet collection.. This is so random but I'm pretty sure I have the same exact bowl as the one on the PHX stemless honeycomb diffuser. Did it come with an Illadelph tube?

There is a clip of the straw perc in action in that video I also posted, somewhere close to the halfway mark. It's hard to tell in the video, but when you have the water level just right, it sucks smoke and water up and bubbles it out of the top into the two disc percs. You can see it doing this more clearly after the tube is cleared.

Haha, that would have been quite the coincidence. That bowl actually came with my 9mm heavy, but I have a feeling that wasn't the original, and someone at the store may have just popped that one on for whatever reason.

The real question is when you want to go pack a bowl which one do you choose? haha

This is quite literally the most difficult part of my day. Sometimes I'll just stand in front of them staring for 30 minutes trying to justify which one I should use. Of course, there are many worse problems to have, lol.

Dude nice collection, i wouldnt wanna get drunk around their, recipe for disaster. I hope you have them stored away and not on the shelf.

I actually don't drink, thank god. And I actually refuse to let my more clumsy friends into my apartment at all. Oh well, better safe than sorry.

Haha, I guess I was being a little harsh when I called it that. Only a few of those pieces I don't particularly care for, the rest (which I do enjoy) were put there due to a lack of room on the other tables, lol.

Which downstems are you referring to? And I'm lucky enough to have around 5 glass shops within an hour of me, so all my pieces came from one of them. Sometimes I wish I didn't live around any so I wouldn't always be so tempted!

Where I live in Chicago there are literally 7 headshops in a two block radius. It's sad though because all but one carry overpriced, shitty China blown glass with fake Roors and Illys and the only one that has real, good shit is incredibly overpriced. You're lucky haha.

Oh damn, I feel for you man :( If you ever find yourself in New England, let me know and I'll take you on a tour of some of the great shops around here :)

oh. would you care to sell any of them?

I'm not particularly attached to any of the Royalties, the Phires or that Kong, so I suppose I'd entertain any reasonable offer.

Oh don't worry, only the finest herbal goodness has ever passed through my babies... otherwise, it would be like buying a Ferrari and only driving it in a Wal-Mart parking lot, haha. And you know what, that admission idea ain't half bad, but they'd need to put down one hell of a deposit to use the tri-coil :P
