Increase closet temp. (cold, damp soil)

  1. Hey guys

I have two Auto Northern Lights flowering in my closet. They are under a 4 bank T5 light. ( 2 x 6500 for veg and 2 x 4100 for flower)

The temp inside the closet is around 25 Celsius.

The ground is COLD because I'm in a basement and I have the plants on top of thin towels. The towels aren't there for warmth but to soak up any water.

The soil is very cold and damp. It takes days for them to dry up.

One recommendation i had was to place them on top of something, anything really. A tray or small grow table would work I think.

However, let's assume I'd need to do a bit more to warm things up...

I was thinking about getting a small space heater and placing it on the ground.
This would heat up the cold ground, and since heat raises, it would continue to warm the entire closet.

Just a thought. If anyone has any tips, please let me know.

    Thanks!

  2. well 25C is 77 F wich is perfect man
just get them off the ground a bit and you should be fine
that is 25c with lights on right?

edit: you can get a dehumidefier in there also to get the humidity down which would alow soil to dry a lil faster if thats all you want but the temp is gr8
