I wouldn't know which aspect ratio is better.

I would suggest using ConvertXtoDVD. If you download .iso files, it'll burn them. If you download .avi files, it'll convert it THEN burn it. Automatically.

Best program I've used for burning movies.

Get an O!PLAY and get HD rips like MKV and h264. Never burn or wait to burn a dvd again ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Multimedia

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yQpvlk34dc]YouTube - ASUS O!Play HD Media Player - unboxed & introduced[/ame]

The Oplay plays every type file ive tried including 1080p, How you gonna play HD on your TV if your using DVDs?

The WDTV is good too, played all Video but not audio but I upgraded to the ASUS O!Play because the WDTV does not convert DTS and the O!Play does.

For a widescreen TV, like a huge plasma, the aspect radio is 16:9. Fullscreen is 4:3. It's Width:Height.

It's been a while since I've burned DVDs on Windows, but try DeepBurner
