Dank Strains In A Tent! The Search for Fire!

So here it is. After a lengthy time off the forums I'm back with a new chapter.
I've upgraded my set up a lil bit. New Ballast, new reflector, better intake fan less plants pm2.
I'm gunna be running this tent constantly trying to find some super Dank mums to keep in my Bonzai Bank.
I just finished my last bits up and got some keeper genetics in the bank. But lets get this started right from the start of my next run.

So here we go,
This run I'll be filling my 1.2m2 tent with 9 plants.
I've allready cracked,
1x Kannabia seeds - White Domina
1x Kannabia seeds - Smile
3x Riot seeds - Riot OG
2x Riot seeds - Ed Rosenthal Super Bud S1 (ERSB)
2x Freebies from Riot Seeds - Rude Girl. (G13 Bee x Diesel)
1x Sweet Seeds - Green Poison

The Riot OG are reg seeds I believe, as are the Rude girl, so I may lose a couple of numbers there but I'll have some clones of some of my allready banked genetics ready to fill gaps if needed.

I'll post full pics and descriptions of my set- up, space, and fresh seedlings tomo if I get any Interest

Update 1. The Current setup for the comming grow

So this is the set up so far for this stage. It will change to adapt for the plants needs as they progress.

1 1.2m2 Budbox grow tent. I've had to cut down the height of the tent due to low ceiling height in the chosen room. Prob taken about 20cm off. Still must be about 6' high.
1 600w Lumatek digital ballast, with an Ecotecnics Diamond reflector.
I'll be using a 600w Metal Halide bulb for Veg and a 600w HPS bulb for flowering
1 RVK 4" intake fan
1 5"RVK Exhaust fan
I will also be using a 5" carbon filter when neccesary
1 SMS COM twin fan controller. Has a temp probe that hangs in the tent and adjusts my fans to keep the temps within the ideal ranges.
2 small desk fans inside the tent to move air about a bit. I've used easy rollers on these too, so as the plants grow I can easily raise the fans up to where I think they'll be needed most.
The tent pulls air in from the room it's in and exhausts straight outside, There is a good air flow working and maintains negetave pressure well.

The plants in the pics are just some cuts i'm vegging up for other purposes and will prob not be featured in this jounal

Update 2 Nutes and stuff I use.

Other products I use include
Plant Vitality Plus
Mollases
Epsom salts
Lots of clean water thats always been standing for at east 24 hours

Hey RAW nice tent going bro ... i just got riots pre-98 bubba and the Grape Stomper... he sent me some ill freebies too G13bee x Matanuska thunderfuck and Kali Mist X Lemon skunk shit will be flame!! but just so you know those ERSB's are S1's which are "selfed seeds" means Matt took 2 cuts of the same plant then sprayed 1 with silver nitrate or maybe colloidal silver, which fooled one of the genetically female clones into producing male flowers thus creating truly feminized seeds of super rare clone-only genetics!! so just treat em well and make sure no light leaks and you shouldn't have a prob with hermies or anything like that !!! ill be subbed buddy

Hey there Kootsman. Very glad to have you here dude. Yeah I got the lowdown on the s1's dude and i'll be treating em' carefully and keeping my eyes peeled. But then again I always treat everything carefully especially with regards to light leaks. Gotta keep them hermes away fo sho!

Wow those g13x MT sound great! Do you know where all the g13 crosses came from? I got g13xdiesel and some g13xblue elite, Wasn't sure if they were Matt's creations or not. Either way sure to be Dank.

So far it's been 100% germination all round so thats always great.
The Riot Seeds selection is all lookin great. All popped and moving along nicely!
The trio of other bits are lookin good too. after a bit of time meeting the MH they're lookin fine. So good news for part 1: Germination lol

Thought I'd throw a copuple of pics in from a recent grow of mine. A Lemon Skunk plant I lst'd.

Wow. How did you do that?

Very much the same method you see on my Nothern Lights mini mum. I let it grow maybe 4 sets of branches then top the plant. I then start pulling the remaining branches down and out trying to keep an even canopy height. I use garden Wire, bought on a roll. I cut the wire to the neccesary length and make a hook at one end (like a tent peg.) And just sink it into the pot using the hook to pull down branches. You'll end up with a mini bush with multiple tops all recieving the same amount of light. I'll show you more in depth once I start training these lil plants. I mainly do it because I struggle with head height in my space so if I didn't lst i'd be in the shit big time! My friend grew out a lemon around the same time as me. he didn't top his plant, or train it. In the end it hit the top of his 2m tent and he had to do some drastic super cropping late on to deal with it. Didn't effect his yield negatively, but his tent sure looked like it'd been savaged by a dog.
If I know I have height probs I take steps early on to avoid issues later. There are many differing techniques for training. This just works well for me. A lot of people don't top their plants and just bend them. Just do what works for you
Be careful not to try and bend branches that are too old and woody, they will snap! However even if they do they're usualy fixable. Training is best started early whilst the plants are bendy and take well to being put in funny shapes.
In my experience so far applying Low Stress Training has dramatically increased my yields and the quality of the buds due to the fact they all get even light.

I'll throw up some pics if your interested. I could start training some of the cuts in the tent to explain myself better with pictures. Let me know if you wanna see

Thank you. I have a mom a few days into flower that was topped about 10 days ago. Will be keepin an eye on you to help with my technique.

I've decided to try two different ways to lst as a side by side test. Both are gunna be carried out using two Northern Lights cuttings I have. They really are almost identical in size and growth.

So method 1 is the one displayed in that picture. I'm not going to top this plant however and i'll be encouraging it to grow in a sort of rising spiral.

Method 2 will be my usual method. For this I will top the plant leaving maybe 5 or 6 pairs of branches. I will then clean off the bottom couple of sets so hopefully leaving 8 branches in total. as the plant grows I will pull these branches down and out to maintain an even canopy. Square pots so i'll be aiming for a branch in each corner and 1 inbetween each corner.

I've taken some pics of step 1 of these methods I'll be posting in the morning and following them all the way through flowering.

Method 2. I topped the plant and cleared out some lower growth. Now I'll wait till it bushes out a bit and pull down the branches.
