I've got 5 big virgin girls in my tropical greenhouse from which i just harvested a years supply. I read somewhere that if i water them and treat them right they will revert to vegetation until next fall when i will get another crop without investing in seeds or hassling with seedlings. Has anyone tried it?
there are threads about this already... stick her back into 18/6 light schedual and she will indeed re-veg. will take awhile tho
Sorry, i did searches, but didn't know the right keyword. What is bladespeak for perennial? (I just figured out what dank means.) I have all year to get a nice fall crop in 2011, but no control over lighting. They don't look so good right now. This area is a little slower paced than some of the others on GC. If it is OK, I'll enter results as my girls dry up and die, or revert (maybe after a dormant phase??)
If i had taken them inside and put them on a 18/6 schedule, AND if i had left some leaves on the stems they might have done something. They are in fact DEAD DEAD DEAD.
Rejuvenation is technically speaking not turning an annual plant into a perennial plant. It merely reverse the life cycle of the plant but still has the self-destructive genetic triggered. Not all cannabis are perennial, in fact all Sativa and Indica strains are annual. Most auto-flowering hybrids are semi-perennial and will easily be turned into annual when the light is sufficient.
