Help with Smoking Hash

Current situation: my dealer is unreliable and an idiot. I found a new guy, and not only does he sell weed he sells hash. I've never smoked hash, only weed, and I figured it is time to try something new. So, I have a few questions for you guys.

1.What would you pay for a gram of hash. (It would be helpful if you specified what general type i.e. high end bubblehash, imported style like Afghan, etc.)
2.What would you pay for a gram of dank weed? (for price comparison)
Yes, I know I created another thread about those two but something screwed up and I can't read it.

3.If I was looking for a specific type of pipe for hash, what kind of pipe am I looking for and would your average headshop carry something like it?
4.What type of lighter would I use to smoke the hash? I heard it was best to use a torch lighter.
5.If I can't find a hash pipe, would it work to put some hash at the bottom of a pipe, cover it with weed, and cherry the weed so that it keeps burning and all the hash is burned?
6.How can I break through a glass bottle without a glass specific drill bit? (I know, random)

use a smoke or joint, get little chunks of the hash, probably the size of a pepper kernel or so. small. smoke a bit of the joint, until its got a good cherry, make sure all the ash is off than pick up the shard of hash by letting it melt onto the cherry. now put it into the bottle. have a bottle made with a hole in the side to insert the joint and hash. let the stream of hash rise until you think its a big enough hit. prepare to get blasted.

dude... smoke it like u smoke any other weed man. Rolling joints (actually using both weed and tobacco) works perfectly normally, and so does doing the same with hash. Cant really do blunts or spliffs with it unless u have some bud to mix, but all the usual methods of smoking work (:

See you CAN smoke it normally but it's best to get those pipes that have a cover over the bowl so only a small portion of the flame can touch it cause it is VERY flammable.

I actually have a hash pipe. Friend loaned it to me. Never smoked hash out of it, but I know what I'm talking about

Could you post a picture of a hash pipe?

Also, does anybody know what I could cover the bowl of a pipe with to keep smoke in? Foil is obviously a no.

Honestly I would just pack a normal bowl of weed and break off a TINY bit of hash over the corner of the bowl, then just light up that corner.
