oKAY so this is my second grow and i am starting my journal. In it I will finish up the first one and start on my second. :hello: For the ones i am about to chop here inna few days, those are 4 og X bubba kush i started from clone and have been using chemical nutes(flora nova ) and fox farm soil under one 400 watt hps for flower cycle and cfls for vegative. They have all gotten loudy milky white trichomes and a few clear ones, no amber ones yet. I will come back and post pics and updates every week or two to this journal. So the clones i have ready to go in my tent after these are exclusive genetics (private) of bubba kush and l.a. confidential crossed. (bubba con) and i currently have them in dixie cups as they are getting a nice rootball before they go in the 4 gallon pots.... so my next ones are gonna be alllllllll organic. I am using general organics new line of organic nutrients with just right xtra potting mix which is inoculated with all kinds of good beneficials and fungi. no nutrients for the first couple weeks (3) so the roots can form a relationship with the bacteria and fungi. Then i am to start with my plan for feeding. I tend to use the biothrive grow and bloom with the cal mag they have for a base and then branch out into guanos and molasses and seaweeds and kelps and whatnot for the rest.....any suggestions will help. I have a 400 watt mh for vegging and a 400 and a 600 next to eachother hps for flowering (10 plants) aircooled hoods and co2 in my setup as well with a controller for climate so my room is covered. check out my pix and give me tips!!!!!!!!!ive been doing maaaaaad research and have buddies that know whats up so im not toooooo newbie but anything helps yo!!! peace!!!

i have decided to go with 7 gallon grow bags because of space being an issue and im going with 12 or so. R ight now im waiting for them to get root balled in the cups before i transplant them into the bags and start to veg with a 600 watt mh 18 hours and 6 off. Which brings me to this, Im not seeing any amber heads on the trichomes yet on the ones i got flowering right now, its at 11 weeks already and bubba og is suppossed to be a 9 to 10 week plant!! what gives??? advice please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when should i chop her down??

i would say let them go for a week and see how it looks then. i like to see most all of the white hairs turn brown/amber and recede back onto the nug, not lookin all crazy.
id give her 2 weeks :Dor so

hello out there in medical gardening land!!!! well i vented out my lights to the out side of my tent and tried to seal the tent as much as possible (impossible to do it right) and the good news is that im maintaining a level of 1500 ppms of co2, its flowing at a very low level, and its on for a minute off for a minute, that is the best i can do right now, i gotta refill co2 quite frequently but i dont need an a/c so electricity is awesome :) if ya cant tell ive been having co2 issues....... well anyways im doing a test on fox farm ocean forest and just right extra and im seeing a little yellowing on the just rights right off the bat, (rooted clones) but the ffof is looking amazing, weird i really thot the just right was the bomb by the ingrediants, anyways i foliar sprayed cal mag and biothrive grow on the leaves and immediately saw results so maybe next watering i will just start my organic nute cycle, by the way i am using mycos too -anyways------heres my pix!!!!!! rep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and the bubba og came out sooooooooo gooooooood i wish i wudda kept some clones ): oh well this stuff is way better i thinkAttached File  IMAGE_149.jpg   321.34K   14 downloads

UPDATE: well im doing kinda a control test with just right xtra and fox farm ocean forest soils, the ffof turns out when innoculated works waaaay better than just right when you dont cut it with something........my plants all had a mag def or nit def because they were yellowing and seemed like it was coming from the outside in or visa versa?? anyways a full nutrient watering with all organics did the trick now they are all catching up and looking better--btw the ffof soil ones are just beefy and awesome looking compared to the rest :( but they are on the way. i F.I.M.ed three of them and they are filling out, plan on doing the rest after they all catch up---------overall i feel like these girls are gonna be the best thing ive ever done---------keeping a journal so i can get a perfect system going and do the same thing every time for good numbers and success-----------------------------------------------my grow is completely legal and with documentation for my state-------------

UPDATE!!!! quite the canopy i got goin on now---as for soil results---in the beginning, fox farms oceaon forest was waaaaaaaaaaaay better, the just right xtra is way too strong for rooted cuttings, but the ph of the just rights, now that im flowering now, is too low. they say not to ph the nutrient solution (general organics biothrive line) because the microbes bring it back up once the nutez are available to the roots, anywho, next time im going with fox farm and im ph ing all the way every time so theres no questions...they look good tho im just a perfectionist and i want no def. whatsoever due to ph lockout (im getting a zinc def. on one lil top fox farm soil. heres the pix better ones coming Attached File  IMAGE_160.jpg   365.19K   5 downloads
