Ring pipes?

A good friend of mine blows glass and a couple years ago he started blowing ring pipes. A ring pipe is basically a one-hitter in the shape of a ring with a bowl on one end and a hole (mouth piece) on the other.
I had never seen or heard of ring pipes before he started blowing them so I have no idea if any of you blades have ever seen/used one.

Anybody else ever heard of them?

yeah my LHS carries ones that looks similar to that. I think the bowls are a tad smaller though.

Never heard of it but it looks sick

Sweet, I'd put that on a shelf near my desk, maybe even make a little wooden stand.

But I'd never really use it much, maybe on the go but I'd use my Zebra Spoon.
