Fla. employees paid to get drunk

he Florida Department of Law Enforcement revealed it paid 15 employees to get drunk to test the accuracy of the Intoxilyzer 8000 breath test.

The FDLE revealed to a panel of judges in Sarasota County in December that it spent $330 on alcohol, mixers and Doritos for 15 employees to drink on company time and blow into the Intoxilyzer 8000s to test their accuracy

However, the judges expressed skepticism about the accuracy of the study because the blood work from the employees was not ready in time for the December hearing.

She was lovin' it a little too much.

Manatee, Fla. resident Christine Faith Baker, 47, was arrested after she allegedly offered sexual favors for two McDonald's dollar-menu cheeseburgers, according to the Miami Herald.

An undercover officer invited Baker into his car on Friday and started talking about sex. Baker allegedly said that her fee was two McDoubles -- the dollar-menu version of a double cheeseburger -- costing a grand total of $2.75.

Sombrero, Boxing Glove-Clad Drunk Man Jumped On Cop Car

As a Sacramento cop sat in his patrol car, a drunk man walked up and leaped onto the hood of the officer's vehicle, according to a police report obtained by the Sacramento Bee.

But this was no ordinary drunk man. This was Jesse James Thomas wearing a sombrero and a boxing glove, and he was here to make his name known, police said.

German police rescue DJ from 'sex mad' woman's home

The 43-year-old disc jockey named Dieter S. told Munich's T.Z. newspaper that he had to call police to rescue him from the woman's flat in Munich after she locked him inside, hid the key and forced him to have repeated sex with her.

"She was sex mad and there was no way out of the flat," Dieter said. He told the daily that he had consensual sex with the woman three times earlier that day on Easter Monday.

"I realized I was trapped and had to keep going until she fell asleep," Dieter said. "So we had sex five more times."

As soon as the woman fell asleep, Dieter said he went out to the balcony and placed an emergency call to police on his cell phone. Police arrived 10 minutes later.

"She tried to persuade the police officers to join her in 'related activities' -- albeit unsuccessfully," Munich police wrote in a press release.

Dentist pulls out all of her ex-boyfriend’s teeth after split

A Polish woman is facing three years in prison after she removed all of her ex-boyfriend's teeth during dental surgery just days after their breakup.

"I tried to be professional and detach myself from my emotions," Anna Mackowiak, 34, told the Austrian Times. "But when I saw him lying there I just thought, 'What a bastard' and decided to take all his teeth out."

Marek Olszewski, 45, reportedly showed up at Mackowiak's dental office complaining of toothache just days after he broke up with her. She then allegedly gave him a "heavy dose" of anesthetic, locked the door and began removing all of his teeth one at a time.

Squid Injects Woman's Tongue With Sperm Bag As She Eats In Korea

A woman in Seoul, Korea was eating semi-boiled squid when the cephalopod injected its sperm bag into her tongue, according to research published in February.

The unidentified woman reportedly experienced a "pricking and foreign-body sensation" while she chewed and spat the squid out. She had to go to the hospital when she felt severe pain and several "small, squirming" creepy crawlies in her mouth.

Doctors found that the squid had left "twelve small, white spindle-shaped, bug-like organisms" in the mucous membranes of her tongue and cheek.

Indeed, the woman's mouth had been essentially inseminated.

Babies testing positive for pot - blame the shampoo, study finds

Commonly used baby soaps and shampoos, including products from Johnson & Johnson, Aveeno and CVS, can trigger a positive result on newborns' marijuana screening tests, according to a recent study. A minute amount of the cleansing products in a urine sample — just 0.1 milliliters or less — was found to cause a positive result.

“If the issue is that the mother broke the law and therefore the child should be removed, we might want to consider going after mothers who exceed the speed limit while driving," says Carl Hart, an associate professor of psychology at Columbia University and author of a leading text on drug effects. "Of course, this is ridiculous.”
