Harnessing the power of Lucid Dreams

But it got me thinking. I've heard from others online, and from my brief experience just mentioned, that while lucid dreaming, you can hold the power to do whatever you please. So then I wondered if you could use your dream environment for the betterment of your personal growth. Could you consciously experience situations that would challenge you? Could you face things that are unpleasant to you in reality and conquer your fears? Could you use the dream landscape as your own personal training ground for anything you desire?
To me this seems plausible and would be highly beneficial if one could experience such a thing. Is there anyone here who's had lucid dreams and could tell me if they've experienced anything like this? Cheers.

Late high school('91 grad) till about 6 years ago I had dreams that were very real. I used to always have fucking great dreams where I always got drugs, women, won all the fights, could fly through vivid skys filled with lightning of many colors. I don't anymore. The few dreams I have and remember are not good ones any more. I don't know why, it sux!
Sounds awesome. When you did have these dreams, did you have control over what you wanted to do in them?

Possessing your thoughts is a natural ability that requires energy and potential.
If you want to gain a greater ability to control your thoughts work on your memory, the more frequently you take a kinetic pathway within your mind the easier it will be to remember.
The objects of your mind are created using a process call tesseraction which transforms simple information into a simulated hallucinogen visualization.
There are three primary factors that you can experience, matter and space, and a third that you catalog called time.
In reality, there is only matter and space. Time is simply a combination of the two, which we refer to as the universe.

All forms of dreaming are essentially the same.

Interesting. And with regards to my question, I can apply this knowledge how?
