Today was harvest day. For my 5 plants.

I'm doing what I call a partial harvest.

I harvest all the main buds/large buds on the top half of the plant.

And leave all the pop-corn and minor buds on the bottom half. As well as leaving as many healthy fan leaves as possible.

I have all my harvest fan leaves, big and tiny alike to make bubble hash tomorrow.

I don't know what the wet weight of all my buds are, so don't ask.

When they dry, I'll clock in a final dry weight for all 5 plants combined. All 5 are white widow, so I didn't bother separating them at harvest.

I'll have some pics up later today.

I'm excited to re-veg my plants. After I harvested them today, they all look like plants still. I didn't butcher them to pieces. I left on as much leaves and buds as I could. And they all still look like healthy plants. Albeit a bit smaller.

I don't understand why indoor growers would kill their plants for harvest. It has to be faster to do a partial harvest, re-veg, and throw them back into flowering. Faster than killing a healthy plant, and starting all over from a small clone or seed.

For this re-veg, I am going to grow 4 or 5 good clones as well, also.

Some pics. The batteries in my camera died in the middle of me taking pics. So I have to wait for a re-charge before I can take any more pics.

The batteries died before I could take a picture of the 2nd tray of harvested buds I have.

Later tonight, I'll take some pics of some individual buds, and Colas as well.

And like I stated in the title of this thread. I'm going to LST and Scrog them, for this Re-veg. And for the 2nd harvest, I'll just harvest colas, and major buds above the screen, since some plastic chicken fence will be in place for the scrog.

  3. After my plants recover from the shock of being harvested, and thrown back onto their 24 hour light cycle.

I'm going to transplant them in a couple weeks into these 10 Gallon Wal-mart Storage Containers I bought.

I figured the extra space might help them grow a bigger network of roots. Which will equal bigger plants.

Since I'm going to partial harvest and re-veg these plants over and over. I want them to get as big as they possibly can, within the space I have them in.

More Pics. This is a butane torch cigarette lighter in these pics. It's the same length as a standard Bic lighter.

All the pics of my plants in the grow room. Are all pics of them already harvested. What you see is everything that I left on them.

getting near the last for today's.

This is a molasses Gnat/fly trap in the pic. On the paper plate.
As you can see, hundreds to thousands of Gnats have met their sugary death in that paper plate.

I'm going to set up 2 or 3 more traps here today. Thankfully Gnats are the only problem I've had so far.

    and the last.

On the very left of the last pic, are the 10 gallon wal mart storage containers that I'm going to use as pots, when I re-pot my plants in a couple of weeks. I drilled 4 holes in each corner of every container. And am going to use the lids to put underneath them as catch pans for water drainage.

  13. My next priority is to invest in an ozone scrubber. Or some kind of semi-affordable method to neutralizer the odor. The small fan I have in there with air fresheners underneath it, and 15 small boxes of baking soda isn't enough.

Besides that, I'm also going to beef up the security, add sound proofing to the interior of my grow room and try to Make the hidden door more hidden.

  14. Plants look a little stressed today. They still look healthy. But a couple big fan leaves are getting a bit droopy. Hopefully she'll snap out of the shock in less than a week.

This is literally the Stankiest, Dankiest, stickiest stuff I've ever had. I grew some White Widow last year also, but it didn't come out this good. This stuff before it's completly dry, has the consistency of bubble gum.

I'm anxious to grow a new strain in the future. But I can vouch for White Widow, even as a strain for newbies to grow.

This stuff is so smelly. I opened a little bottle of stuff I have drying and curing that I'm toking on while the rest is drying. And my friends said they could smell it, from the other room they were in.

Just messing with the stuff, gets your fingers sticky as hell. To the point that you can't wash all the resin off your fingers in one setting. Even after washing my hands, they still smell like the dankiest stuff on earth.

I don't know how to describe the smell. It has a really musty smell, but it's not overwhelming, because it also has a strong Citrus/pine type smell. It also has a sweet type smell, which is hard to explain because I've never noticed anything sugary in my life having a smell. The best I could describe it as, would be honeysuckle. Very complex aroma.

    Odor profile of my shit:

    very strong unmistakable marijuana musk
    Pine
    Cedar
    Orange
    Honeysuckle

    I love this shit. :D

  16. congrats and good luck on the 2nd reveg. I read on another site about a guy who ended up keeping the same plant under a single 400w hps until the 6th or 7th harvest. Just kept tieing her down. yields were insane if I remember correctly. I can't seem to find the link, but if I do I'll make sure you get it.

  17. I never thought you could do this. I figured the death hormone the plants send out at flowering would pretty much guarantee that all the energy stores would be used up. Subbed for sure. I might try that same thing in my grow.

  18. Cool, thanx man. Any extra info will be appreciated.

  19. Yeah. Well weed does do that outdoors in nature most places in the world. But that's because the days get shorter, and usually colder. And everything dies or either goes into hibernation or suspended animation.

But places with growing seasons all year round, don't have those issues to deal with. Which is awesome to me. Because I've got a year round growing season in my house. :smoke:

  20. I think the key might be. Is to leave your plants plenty of green leftover to work with after you harvest it. Have to wait and see.

Here's one of my pics as an example. To show how much leaves and buds I left on my plants after harvest. I circled in red as many spots that I could find on my plant that I harvested. I probably ended up leaving 10 small buds left on that plant alone.
