I think a lot of people's roots get stained by their chosen nutrient range. So although they can look brown it's not because of any problems. I use these nutes and they are relatively colourless. Keeping the nutrient solution cool and using a correct sized air pump for the reservoir size will keep the roots healthy and that helps with the colour. And of course there is the light. Many people take photos of the subject lit by an HPS bulb. This makes everything yellow. I use a flash which helps with displaying its natural colours
Why my second pic is upside down I don't know. The plant on the left is my blue hash the plant on the right is the thc bomb. They are 45 days from seed.
