  6. Im sure I could. Give me the movie, and ill see what I can do :)

  7. How do you print your posters, like with what? I would love to make and print posters, that would be some sick shit.
I love it, btw, I think it flows great, and with all the colors..:hello:

  8. goodfellas20large.jpg Okkkkk this is it but there is something special about this photo :)

  9. I like the design

  10. This is a really great design, I really liked the colours you chose and I also liked how you placed all of the elements so that your eye moves around the page following the composition. You in school for art?

Also, if I could make a small suggestion that you may or may not choose to use, you could always try to find a way to incorporate the title into the piece itself instead of making it so prominent, it almost dominates the rest of the elements because the title is the brightest object in the piece.

Once again, your decision, I think this is awesome as is anyway :D

  11. thanks alot :)

Thanks for the criticisim, i kinda wanted the title to stand out a little but i get what your saying. i just got my ged i dropped out from my depersonalzation and im going to a community college next year and i think that it takes 2 years for a graphic design degree so ill go to a community for 2 years for my graphic degree the ngo to a 4 year and possibly major in bussiness so i can manage my own graphic bussiness.

is it u in it or something? haha i can do it but i need very large images

Awesome, but dear god is that title and bars ugly! They break the flow of your piece, and it flows so well without those bars and title!

Your going for this feel where everything is being sucked into the middle; I dig it. The illuminated bars with cheesy Layer Blend options over them look misplaced and Final Fantasy-ish, and don't match the color scheme. Neither do the Lucida or Spartanish fonts. Also, you used the wrong "were". It should be "we're".

Now that I got the ass hole out haha.... constructive criticism!

Do you know how to use the Warp tool in Photoshop? If so, use smoke brushes/patterns (whichever you find easier to work with) and spell out "We're all mad here" in separate color smoke letters coming out of the caterpillar's mouth. Allows you to get the title in there that flows. If you want it to stand out, use colors opposite of the primaries you used (orange, red and pink).

Also, I suggest warping the rabbit/door so it goes right into the middle of your piece, almost fitting right under the caterpillars leaf. This method is called 'tunnel visioning' when things come from the outside and join in the middle together. It's used tons in psychedelic posters because on most drugs you get tunnel vision.

You don't need to have Alice in Wonderland written on it for this version you made. Such iconic characters and objects should make it obvious. For a movie or TV poster or book (etc etc etc) include the title on it; but for normal posters designers tend to lean towards icons to purvey the title of the piece.

Sorry if I sound like an ass, I guess I'm just critical. But the piece shows promise and looks great already. The bars and typing just break it though; the complete opposite of the flow and ideas that come to mind with Alice in Wonderland.

Good job for a first draft!!!!!

Edit: Holy dick 25" x 15"? Where are you getting source images that big haha? Did you build all of them yourself? If so, damnnnnnn.

  13. haha i always print out my work usually so i make them big i can put them on up on my wall but thanks for all the tips and what not, idk i thought the bars looked kinda good and the person i wanted, wanted the alice in wonderland text like that so i left it like that, ill check out the warp tool and mess around with it.
did u take courses in graphic design?

  14. very cool poster man, except i agree with the guy who said the stuff about the bars, they look very out of place, overall good job :)

  15. Usually on posters i make for non-serious type like just for fun or practice i dont go back and edit so if i feel like it ill go change stuff around possibly, but as of now ill prob just move onto another project

  16. Only a year instead of two because I chose film over it, so I can't call myself a professional. Just a person who was taught very well to see things in design.

  17. Where did you go to school for graphic design? How good was the school for graphic design.
