Hey everyone, new to the forums and fairly new to getting frequently stoned. Wondering if anyone has self-created any mods for their vaporizers such as water pipes, chambers, or other modifications that could be achieved. I have a easy vape model vaporizer and made a modification to the original mouth piece design by instead using a small pom pomegranate fruit juice bottle and using it as a water pipe mouth piece to further cool the vapor. Please give me any advice or suggestions on how I could improve the mod and share your own.
not to be rude, but modifying a vaporizer is stupid..it voids the warranty and you will end up losing money if you fuck up. there are already water pipe attachments..bubbler attachments..steamroller attachments and custom wands/whips you name it man.. Its best to go with glass if your vaporizing through anything..plastic wouldn't be a great idea.
I attached a peanut butter bubbler between my HerbalAir vaporizer and the bag. which does not damage or void the warranty on it.

With whip style vapes and glass on glass bongs you can hold the round glass mouthpiece flush with your downstem's lip (since the mouthpiece and downstem are round you should get a good seal... if not use something as a washer i.e. fabric with a hole in it) and rip through the bong. It lets you see how thick the vape is before you rip it, and rip it harder and add ice and avoid getting shit in your lungs... all around an excellent and easy improvement IMO. If you want to invest in doing it properly you could probably get a tubing-to-standard-glass-downstem blown for a few bucks. Just make sure your piece and water aren't too dirty or the bongwater will overpower the vape flavor! Please note that this technique might get you extremely blazed.
Ok, I'm all for the DIY stuff and all that, but to the dude 2 posts above...I really feel like you're wasting your time doing all those hardcore 'mods' lol. You can get a tiny little glass adapter off ETSY that will fit your bong - they have 14mm and 18mm ones! Buy one of these and you can hook your whip directly into your GonG piece (ANY gong piece). I've used my Extreme Q with my ETSY bong, my Weed Star double bubbler, my friend's RooR, and even on my SG Stemline! For $20 it's worth every penny since it makes vaping through a bong so easy. Definitely recommend it!
sounds like there is too much water in your bong man..mad chugg. Buy a Gong water adapter they aren't expensive, what your doing isn't the brightest idea because you can break the joint..or your vaporizer which would really suck. if you want a vaporizer that close to your bong get a short tube..and a water adapt..or a Vriptech.
LOL I have been doing this for a while and it's absolutely perfect. Works waaaaaaaaaaay better than the whip to bong way, there is a reason i am not doing it that way. I'm not afraid of breaking it so i'll just stick to it, i don't have to go buy more tubing + adapters from the net and make it hella short and more awkward than it already is.
uhm you have a vaporizer sticking out of your down stem..of course its going to be awkward..whips would allow for bigger hits(+plus flavor) and more flexibility(move without worrying about the plug getting pulled from the outlet) and having less water would just take away that horrible chugging. But hey if your not worried about breaking your stuff more power to you.
yo this shit gives me a great idea, ive been using my v-tower extreme for about 6 months now. I also have a 2.5 foot rasta label Zob with and 8 arm palmtree perc (18mm and 14mm joints), and a 2.5 foor kind-creation hamonica perc (18mm) and i havnt had the idea to run vapor through the bongs. Question, what guage it the glass L attachment, because it's not quite 14mm and i want to get a 18-v-tower conversion piece. if anyone knows where or what guage this is i;d really appreciate it. on
